- A little throwback Thursday to recharge my batteries and get some decent practice in! I'd love to play this on here with piano some time too 🙂

I remember being a shy gay guy in the mid 90s playing this at state and making first band first chair. There were a set of things we all played and then there was a solo section. I was teased relentlessly for playing the flute and being a guy, so I figured the way to combat that was to be the best. And I fucking was. I beat the second chair by a country mile. Good for you, man! You sound fantastic!
How long did it take you to learn this?
I was already familiar with it from music college, but back then I suppose it took me a month or two 😊

In my sheet music for this song, there is a passage notated as "velocissimo con bravura" in measure 130. It was completely left out of your sheet music. Does anyone know why this passage seems to be left out of most performances of this song?
