I almost concluded that I have got cancer(even cried for days thinking how people around me will react once i die)..i feel so much better now..Thanks for your positive words doctor.❤..World needs more people like you..God bless you !
I can relate It’s been a terrible experience
Me too 😔
You're not alone, I immediately calculated my net worth and started doing estate planning for my loved ones in my head, before I realized I just have piles. 😅
You're not alone!!
Thanks doc! You are one of those rare ones who doesn’t use the term ‘Cancer’ to scare people for nothing. ❤
Exactly!
Thank you for taking the time and caring enough to make this video!!
The only cancer in the world is california.
So true!
Very true!
This is the type of doctor everyone should be seeing. He’s using common sense, but keep it 💯
Man thanks for telling us to calm down I really felt better, no other doc so far while watching told us to calm down.
The biggest thing I’ve been getting from your videos is “Every patient is different”. My gosh, if only our healthcare industry would have this same idea, we all would be healthier. I wish I still lived in So. Cal because I would be at your office door. The world needs more doctors like you.
Thank you for addressing this issue, you have put my mind at ease.
Thank you so much Doctor I really appreciate this video. When I first listen to the first video from another Doctor I almost collapsed when I heard the word cancer. But this video has given me inner healing. I'm no longer scared. Thank you once again.
i found this very calming and informative, please keep up the good work
You, sir, are a treasure! So glad to see your channel growing!
Thank you kindly!
5:22 rate of a cancer 0.02%
5:53 colon and rectal cancer chance: 4%
Thanks for your video Dr. I think you really calmed my 23 year old son's nerves with this.
I love this doc's plain spoken manner.
Thank you so much Dr Chung you are a gift to humanity ❤
So grateful for this channel! ❤
Thank you for your upbeat and informative approach!
It’s because your awesome Doc, there aren’t many doctors like you.
Thank you! I love your honesty and more than that, your positive attitude!
Your instructions are actionable and realistic!
Dr Chung - you are the best! I wish there was a Dr Chung in my neck of the world!
Thanks for this information! It’s comforting to hear that the statistics for the percentages of “dire” problems like cancer are quite small! SUGGESTION: please differentiate between internal HR which bleed and exterior HR that bleed in future presentations. I wish you lived closer as I would go see you in a flash. It is difficult to find a colorectal surgeon or a proctologist here. On your recommendation I would want one of those type docs over a gastroenterologist. Thank you for all your videos❤️ You and your videos have been a wonderfully helpful and supportive!
Thank you so much for your channel!!! From Canada
"Suffering together". Automatically became a fan. Lol
This is a great channel. Thanks Doc. Aussie Bob 😊
Great and informative video, thanks doc!!!
Listen, if you're going to die from a butt problem..this guy is gonna keep ya laughing till the end🎉😅
Thank you Dr your Awesome you explain very well and gives peace of mind 😊
Thanks doc. As soon as i heard you say those things i burst crying from all the panic that was built in me and i felt better. ❤
Watched one video and subed immediately

Thanks a Million for your help Doc
Thank you doc❤. I really passed out for a minute , I really scared. Thank you from my bottom of my heart❤
Thanks for the realistic odds.
I wish I could find a doctor like you. Now that I am older I feel like doctors I've seen don't care.
I just pooped red and seeing your assuring thumbnail and title is much appreciated! It’s late at night and I’m trying not to freak out!
Doctor, have you heard of the non-surgical exroid procedure? It is available in the UK. I’ve heard great reports from people who have had it done. I’m waiting to heal a fissure and plan to have it done myself. Thank you for your kind and lighthearted approach, it helps not only with the physical pain but also provides mental and emotional support those of us who are struggling.
Thanks doc for all the great videos. And, congrats on the growing subscribers. You've earned it.
Thanks so much for saying so! I'm glad you're a part of it!
What a nice guy with great advice, this Dr. Chung. Thanks for your positive advice. Because I was panicking with the pain I had of a fissure. I went to a cruel negative proctoligist here in Belgium. Ooooh man he was talking about an operation. And if the operation wouldn't be a succes ... like incontinence.... that would be my problem he said. But the chance was small..... After a visit to this proctoligist I was totally overwelmed with fear. After seeing this video I ordered Pranicura. It took 5 weeks before I received the 3 units. Now I am using Pranicura. It's a relief. No more pain. Thank god. In the meantime I am looking for a proctologist like Dr. Chung here in my country.
Sounds like you were being told about a sphincterotomy?
I was diagnosed with IBS-A 7 months ago based on my symptoms, I would only get ibs flare ups after experiencing new routine changes or during stressful periods. Thanks to my health related anxiety and the internet, unfortunately last month I noticed bloody mucus on stool twice back to back and went on a panic mode, visited my doc got the tests and they came back normal. Well you guessed it right, I wasn't satisfied so I pushed my doc to book me in for a colonoscopy and he did. Just got it done yesterday, and I'm feeling so relieved... Fortunately they found nothing but inactive piles and officially diagnosed IBS. I think 90 percent of the time small or moderate red bleeding is associated with piles so don't worry...
Thank you for this comment. I have issues after stressful periods. Doctors couldn’t really identify things. My mom went through the same before ibs was a thing. I’m relieve the heat others share their story
Hey iam also suffer from IBS problem now and some time I see the blood in my stool some times it's is ok
Hey Doctor 1st time watching your Video, and I just ORDERED Pranacura.
Thank you 😊
I got relieved just listening, I am Truck driver, and I started to panic. 😢
The reviews are very good, I hope that 🙏 this works 💪
Congratulations 🎊 just watch this episode who knew 8 mo ago you we’re reaching and here we are 8 months later November 2023 and your over 70k subscribers 🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🎈
Thank you for you great advice.
Even though you didn't start with this video, Dr. Chung, I got the message. All of your videos have been very helpful to me! I remind myself that I will get better; Dr. Chung said so!😁 I've had so few episodes after finding your channel. I keep telling you this because it's true: You've greatly improved my life! Thank you so much! Congrats on growing your channel!🎉👏🥳
Incredible!! I'm so happy to hear your episodes are decreasing! Keep it up!
@@yourfriendlyproctologisthello Dr Chung nice to meet you here am Justine from Uganda East Africa few days now I have been seeing little blood in my 💩 am worried
He loves his job waaaay too much!
I'm so glad to find this video! I'm from Japan, having the bleeding situation since yesterday and was freaking out. Japanese doctors tend to scare people in order to make them come to hospitals and clinics, but in my opinion it's not healthy and even bad for mental health. I have a bit of health anxiety problem, but listening to Dr.Chung made me feel relaxed and objective about my situation. What he says here makes so much sense. 'Every patient is different' he says, and that's something western medical system has totally forgotten these days. THANK YOU Dr.Chung!!!
A little follow-up. My bleeding stopped. Before it started bleeding, I had traveled to another town, missed the usual timing and didn't go to No.2 for almost a week. Then I came home and had a HUGE poop two days in a row. On the second day I could not find a toilet and waited quite a while before going. That was when my anus started bleeding. No wonder. The chances I had a colon cancer or something serious was very very low obviously, and still it got me so worried. Hope it helps if you are in the same situation. Remember people, there's no need to panic!
Thank you? Hi I’m one of the small percentage, it’s rare the 1at colonoscopy missed, next one 8 no later stage 3, after chemo/radiation told the tiny lesion on liver was nothing,6mo later inoperable#4 ,It would have been a cureable treatable, if caught early. Always check out those symptoms
Oh PS I didn’t have that much bleeding with my 1st diagnosis of anal cancer,I had bowel changes, digestive issues, anal cancer is on the rise! If only it would of been caught earlier! It would of been curable! Don’t wait have colonoscopy!
Yesterday my anal bleeding happened several times in a day, too much pain in my belly, poop several times.times, I went to the ER and after CT scan, blood test, the doctor said it's colitis and prescribed antibiotics for 7 days. If the bleeding did not stop for 2 days, I need to return to ER for other test.
@@carmelitahilario2252 I think you still need colonoscopy my cancer didn’t show up on two colonoscopies ,they have good medications to treat. Colitis now . GI doctor?
Youre so awesome Doc❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hope for what ?
Thanks so much for this video.
This video was awesome!! Thank you
You're the man! 👍
Thank you. New subscriber here.
I really appreciate you.
Doc, thank you so, so much for all your videos. I saw a massive amount of blood in the toilet and panicked, hard. I ignored, it but it happened more times. So, I gathered what very little courage I could find and had a colonoscopy. What a process that was, plus never been placed under anesthesia before. The procedure was perfect though. The result? Hemorrhoids. That’s it. So, I purchased PRANICURA! I’ve had tried all different products for my condition and nada. But I’ve been using pranicura and it’s truly THE best product. Thank you so much for looking out for us who struggle and providing the solutions ! God bless.
Thank you 💜
Who would imagine that one day I would enjoy listening to a proctologist LOL.

Every now and then I have these bleedings. I know I have some internal hemorrhoids, but I always get concerned about cancer anyway
I have internal bleeding hemorrhoids. My bleeding is very profuse and been having for a long period of time. My hemoglobin gets so low that i been having blood transfusions. I'm afraid of the banding procedure. I'm 69 years old. Most of time i get so sick and feel like about to die. Never thought my hemorrhoids would cause me to have this horrible condition 😢
🙏
Doc i have a heavy bleeding hemorrhoids and im worried about it and i feel that im gonna dying😢 when i watch your videos and advice i feel relieve now😊 Thankyou so much.
Me too. This is horrible.
same
I don’t feel so alone now 🙏🏼 Thank y’all 💪🏼 Sudden onset of bleeding situation had me running to the ER, and here I thought I was in the clear with steroid suppositories and 4 bandings over the years. Shoot. I can’t believe it’s happening again and yes, totally feels like dying. Last time I got too close to needing a blood transfusion, so my fear is real.
i was thinking im dying, should i tell my wife?
@@SimranRajQueenBlissHow much blood did you see? Was it just from a bowel movement or bleeding even without a bowel movement??
Love your videos so much, I have a question - does lifting heavy at the gym cause haemorrhoids ?
Just found the channel and I'm a couple hours into a deep dive, helping me to understand things and I can't thank you Dr Chung and the comenters on various videos enough.
What's the differences of Pranicura versus othr creams say Anusol?

Congratulations Doc. You help so many people. Aussie Bob 😊😊😊
Hi Doc! Could you do a video on tenesmus? I've been having that for a while together with abdominal pain, still undergoing testing with my doctor but you explain things a lot more thoroughly than during my appointments!
I agree, that would be a great topic.
Thank you 🙏
Dr chung is correct too much fiber irritates my hemmoroids.
Thanks man. My first time experiencing this. Very embarassing for some reason. This helped me feel much better.
Miralax Helped me and stopped my bleeding by 90%
Congrats!
I can say I went to the toilet the other day and when I stood up there was quite a bit of blood in the toilet. It did feel as if my stool had a sharp bot it it on the way out. I almost fainted when I seen it. Called NHS 24 and they managed to calm me down. Admittedly my fist thought was cancer after searching online. Went for a no#2 the next day and everything was clear
Thats what keeps happening to me too m8
Thank you
1. Breathe.
And now, the steps I suggest :
2. Assess quantity and color.
3. Put a feminine hygiene pad in your undies a bit farther back than usual.
4. If there's a significant quantity, you need a doctor.
Btw, 4 percent is equal to 1 in 25. That's kind of a lot.
Thanks
Sadly, my experience has been that, if I go in to urgent care, doctor's office, or ER, and tell them I'm bleeding...they don't care! Dr Chung had another video where he warned against seeing the wrong Dr...it's true.
Same here….
Many doctors have NO compassion/empathy anymore 😢
Same here. I sat in emergency room for TEN HOURS while bleeding heavily. No one cared, no one tried to help.
Every time I’ve went to the hospital for bleeding they take me back right away. Probably cuz I have ulcerative colitis and am usually extremely anemic from it
It's just really awful that for both the patients (us) and doctors, after everything that doctors had to go through from COVID and awful patients, I can understand how they would just stop caring.
Hallo doc, I am from Indonesia ❤️
Hello Dr.Chung how about blood stricks on the poop is that ok? Thank you in advance 🙂
Colace does work! I use miralax now though
Hi Dr. Chung, we have in the UK the world leading bowel hospital, st marks. i will get them to see if they can evaluate this pranicura cream in their research department as could prove very useful if works as intended
Doctor how about mucu mixed with blood? After taking probiotics
How can i order your cream doc and how much it cost?
Hi! I'm curious if you ever work with people who have to do bowel incontinence programs who suffer from hemorrhoids from the prolonged sitting and daily manual evacuation methods they have to use. Spinal cord injury or Spina bifida for example. I know much of this video was helpful for this but not all since the daily program is irritating to the bowel. Would love a resource and have had a really hard time finding it online.
