Iris becomes the assistant of a mysterious magician with the ability to grant any wish, in exchange for what the person loves most.

As the two grow up, their rivalry becomes more intense, turning into something more neither of them was prepared for. The ending was good but idk why he's so mad at them. They helped the only way they could. No names and details left out so i don't spoil it.
Thank you so much (for the comment and for not spoiling haha). So without saying too much to avoid it as well, the way I saw it is he's being irrational because he feels guilty seeing her struggling and like deep down he blames himself.

Great story line But I feel like it was rushed and the audio would overlap in spots. It felt like the story was rushed. I definitely expected more.

Why would her brother do that deadly act and why does Cassie go to the magician shop every time she does not want to feel. She is the reason for all this foolishness.

Great story but the ending is such a cliffhanger! We will never know if cass gets her wolf back or if she gives up her baby. Smh and I don’t understand why she couldn’t stay with the pack. Since in another story but from the same universe a girl was born without a wolf. Making her human, but she was still able to live amongst her pack members. And she was also mated to a wolf. Even though in this story it says that that’s not possible for humans to mate with wolves. So I’m kind of confused.
Great question! 🤩 So what I had in mind is that shifters who can’t shift (like Kira from the other story) may not have a wolf but that doesn’t equate to them being fully human either! Kind of like in the Harry Potter franchise, how they are muggles and squibs (both can’t do magic but the later have a magical heritage/gene unlike the former). Same here!
Kira was a shifter but she just didn’t have powers essentially ! So if she were to get bitten, she wouldn’t die (unlike a proper human). Whereas in this one here, Cass becomes fully human by the end of the story! So she’d die from a bite.
@@lilywritesstuff Gotcha I was starting to think that after words. Like one being born without a wolf but still accentually part of the werewolf world. While the other was completely removed from it.

Not exactly, the story is part of a series of standalone stories, in which a new character come to see the Magician to make a wish in every episode. So they’re not exactly sequels but there are more from that same series!
