The Statesman Vintage & Classic Car Rally is an annual vintage car rally in New Delhi and Kolkata and the oldest, continuously-run such event in India and the sub-continent. In Kolkata it started in the year 1968. The main organiser of this event is The Statesman. The major attractions of the event are assembly of vintage and classic cars and two wheelers, followed by a drive through the city where cars are assessed for originality and performance on the road section; display of period and fancy dress; grand parade and live music. In normally takes place in Fort William parade ground on the second Sunday of January every year. It's a must visit for the car lovers. In our video we have tried to give the minimum detail of most of the cars present in the rally. Hope you will enjoy this video of a different taste. Personally we also own a modern classic Premier 118 NE, probably the only surviving car of its kind in West Bengal with all papers up to date and fully mechanically restored. In near future we wish to take part in this rally with our beloved car.

I am glad to see your Premier 118NE. When it was first demonstrated in Saint Paul's Cathedral premises I personally watched the demo. I really forgot the year, probably it's 1984. Its a double carburettor engine of Nissan. I also go to vintage car rally. Once upon a time we had one Ford Prefect, if I had the car today I would have joined the rally. How do you collect the parts of your car nowadays? Is it from Mullick bazar ? I hope you won't mind for my question. Thank you.
In chandni chawk there is a shop they have connections throughout india .... they provide me parts.... don;t worry... ford prefect parts are available.... you can inbox me on messenger .... and i can solve any parts problem of ford prefect..... thanks for the comment....
@@sudurerpiyasi480 Thank you very much for the information about old car parts. Unfortunately at the moment I don't have the (Ford Prefect) car any more. It was sold by my grandfather in 1968. Now I own a SANTRO 2009. and one Bajaj Super 1986. If I need any old car parts how can I message you, through the comments or by your Instagram although I don't know your Instagram ID.
