Its implied that rosie may be a hellborn demon rather than a sinner so it could be why rosie is immediately pretty nice as opposed to most of the freaks in hell

I kinda always assumed it because the most iconic cannibal in media is Hannibal lector and he always was very soothing and intelligent with his speaking might just be weird tho lol
I feel like Alastor suggested recruiting the Cannibals partly because of his friendship with Rosie & partly because he knew they’d be swayed by Charlie’s singing and dancing
They grow their power by making deals with people less powerful than them so they have to be at least a little more open to conversation than most sinners
and she has shown she'll kill for her kids - how far does the reasoning 'for my children' go, when does that reasoning stop justifying the behaviors? and, at least in Hazbin Hotel's world, how strict are the rules for what counts as a sin. Thou shalt not Kill except if youre protecting? except if you feel really strongly? is there a line? A generalization sure, but how far do you have to go to avoid killing before killing becomes acceptable enought to get into heaven?
She caused the deaths of other kids for her kids lol. Also since no Sinner can give birth in Hell, her kids must have died with her. For all we know, it was a murder suicide.
I was expecting Rosie to be some kind of intimidating overlord. But she is really one of the sweetest characters in the whole series. She is a sweet mother figure to Charlie. Even more than a certain person. Also I love seeing Rosie and Alastor sing together! Plus it looks like Charlie is definitely ready for this.
Seraphiel is gonna feel like such a tool when she realises that her attempt to prevent a demon uprising just gave them the motivation they needed to unite and actually rise up against Heaven.
The most ironic part of it is that the angels can only be killed by their own weapons. No one in Hell would have access to those weapons if not for the angels bringing (and leaving) them. There was no chance of an uprising before the exterminations began.
Alastor and Rosie are amazing in this episode. Charlie got the determination and song and rallied an army to battle Heaven. Vaggie got her wings back and realized to defeat the angels, she must embrace her love for Charlie and fight for what she loves. Her beloved princess and the friends she made in the hotel, yes even Alastor.
the parallels between carmilla and vaggie are pretty cool, wish the series wasnt constrained to 8 episodes because I really dont care about carmilla since she didnt have a chance to be fleshed out

If the theories about Alastor making a deal with Lilith turn out to be true (maybe in the next season?), then he may use the favor in his deal with Charlie to sever or at least modify the deal with her mom
Nah, Alastor is straight up evil. When we first see him in the pilot, he legit makes his intentions VERY known. He's here for the entertainment, and that's it. But he's also power-hungry, so seeing the ditzy, VERY naive, and easily swayed heir to hell so quick to trust him is just what he needs. Of course, he's gonna play into whatever "parental role" he thinks he needs to use to get Charlie to trust him so he can exploit her. People forget that people like that exist, and he IS that person. Sure, maybe somewhere inside he is fond of Charlie but I'll bet he'll backstab and discard her the second it's convenient for him. When Lucifer arrived, Alastor desperately got on his nerves and kept saying how Charlie is like his daughter, both to weaken Charlie's relationship with her dad and strengthen his own grasp on her. Meaning she runs to him for help and less to her actual dad. That also gives him protection from lucifer cause Lucifer's not about to hurt Charlie's "dear ole friend"
Again I will keep comparing him to someone like Thawne in that sense, he’s using someone to regain and get more of the power he so desperately desires, but gets a little fond of the people he’s met along the way, just like Thawne

I didn’t think so. they’ve lived with her for months, she’s literally been the one forcing them to participate in Charlie’s activities, they know she isn’t up to anything. they probably know better than anyone to judge someone on their current actions and not their past. besides, you can admit it’d be super hypocritical for any of them to judge her for who she was before she got to the hotel.
Some of the characters have proven they could probably redeemed despite them being in hell and I like how just cause someone is hell doesn’t mean they deserve to be they could have redemption also it is confirmed S2 is coming they’ve already started recording for it so can’t wait for next season and explore with the characters and find out more with the Angels, Heaven, Lilith, & the hotel. Can’t wait for your reaction to the finale your gonna love it😊❤

Rosie is pretty nice, but is a cannibal. Carmine puts her famy and love above all else, but is an arms dealer, meaning she was probably responsible for thousands or millions of deaths on Earth (similar to Tony Stark). Zestial seems to be sadistic since he loves hearing screams of pain, but he does care for Carmine as a genuine friend and even keeps her secret. Vivziepop does a very good job at portraying the themes of the show, like sinners do have good qualities to them, but at the same time it makes perfect sense why they got sent to hell anyway.

11:29 actually I could figure we find Camilla being one of the angels who fell with Lucifer or sometime after that later in the show. I mean she has so much resemblence to Vaggi and Lute, she was with Lucifer on extermination day, was the only one to notice Vaggi being an angel and she's been around since forever. Also her character is very respectful and not demon like.
in case you have never checked out the CZcams series HELLUVA BOSS made by Vivziepop, in Hazbin they deal with the overlords of hell, but in Helluva boss they deal with the royalty of hell because there is a difference of a power structure at work
My theory on Rosie and her cannibals are that they're not sinners. They're all Hellborn entities. They all look too similar, and there's children. Only Hellborns are the only ones who can reproduce

The deal between Alastor and Charlie could imply that a deal could've been made with Alastor and Lilith. Since he didn't want a soul. If there is a way to break a contract through blood means since Lilith and Charlie hold the same blood.

Rosie is pretty nice, but is a cannibal. Carmine puts her famy and love above all else, but is an arms dealer, meaning she was probably responsible for thousands or millions of deaths on Earth (similar to Tony Stark). Zestial seems to be sadistic since he loves hearing screams of pain, but he does care for Carmine as a genuine friend and even keeps her secret.
Vivziepop does a very good job at portraying the themes of the show, like sinners do have good qualities to them, but at the same time it makes perfect sense why they got sent to hell anyway.

I mean she has so much resemblence to Vaggi and Lute, she was with Lucifer on extermination day, was the only one to notice Vaggi being an angel and she's been around since forever. Also her character is very respectful and not demon like.

in case you have never checked out the CZcams series HELLUVA BOSS made by Vivziepop, in Hazbin they deal with the overlords of hell, but in Helluva boss they deal with the royalty of hell because there is a difference of a power structure at work

My theory on Rosie and her cannibals are that they're not sinners. They're all Hellborn entities. They all look too similar, and there's children. Only Hellborns are the only ones who can reproduce
Rosie is an overlord, as far as we know only sinners can become overlords
@Ashurman666 not necessarily, Alastor did take down overlords that were in power for centuries, and Zestial is regarded as ancient. Maybe we'll get confirmation in season 2
@@The-Rguy Just because they're ancient it doesn't mean they're hellborne. After all, Hell has been around since the dawn of time and given how Zestial speaks it's possible he died around the middle ages, maybe earlier than that which would make him ancient

So either she is or just looks like the cannibals of Hell, and if that's it, then damn, that's some crazy luck to look so much like these people and rise to overlord and make them your people
