We did have the best music composers back in the 80's, they definitely knew how to make catchy songs. No wonder we're so nostalgic, all these bangers are tattooed in our minds after all these decades. I'm not sure if it's a Diana Ross poster you've got on your wall there, but I wanna suggest you react to her 80's jam, Chain Reaction. It's so goooood!🥰

Empress - you are correct. This is considered the 80s Latin Freestyle. It was huge in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. All areas high in Latin peeps. And it took the world by storm. Expose was one of the biggest girl groups to come out of the 80s. Another group that had similar success was the Cover Girls, and they brought it in their music as well. They also had group members come and go, hence why they sound different in some of the songs. The Latin Freestyle had many groups that were just solid. Like Sweet Sensation, Johnny O, Stevie B, and Cynthia to name a few.

Plus many more Noel, Sweet Sensation, Stevie B , Linear, Lisette Melendez, George Lamond , Company B, even Sheila E and Shannon are linked to this Genre of music.
