I heard that as a way of dismissing the huge importance Stephanopoulos was putting on it, and moving on to other things. Biden is a big part of brokering for peace in the Middle East and for arms to Ukraine from a hostile Congress, plus he has to deal with SC fallout, among other things. Maybe the debate is less important to him than those things. Which certainly prove his mental competence, as does a FULL physical he had, and revealed the details of, in February. (Not the "cognitive test" Trump had, which is the kind of test you use when someone seems off.) Maybe Biden actually thinks the work he does is more important than being a demagogue, which he isn't. Do you think he has his priorities straight?

When was the last time we had our crumbling infrastructure addressed (the 1960s). Student debt relief. Union support, so ordinary people don't have to work 2 jobs just to get by. Reducing. insulin prices so that people don't have to dangerously halve their doses because they can't afford more.

I agree with Sara that the DNC's decision to cancel primary debates prevents us from considering other primary candidates. By monopolizing the choice of the incumbent, they allowed him to run despite knowing his condition. Now that everyone can see his issues, they want to switch him out. They should have given other candidates the opportunity to run when these problems first became apparent. Whoopi is right sort of but we didn't choose him; his political donors, who control him like a puppet, did.

Unfortunately Biden is not doing a good job at convincing Americans he’s up for the job. He had a chance to speak directly to Americans unedited on the debate stage and he failed. Trump is also insane but this election will be determined by the amount of turnout we have. People rather not vote if they perceive both options to be bad. Biden simply isn’t inspiring. My advice is everyone panicking about Biden is to not to get caught up in the hype of the moment. Don't panic about what any poll says at that moment, or what any pundit or pollster in the media or online says. The clearest parts are when he calls for someone to be killed, because he gets off on that. So, Trump while he was in office didn’t accept his paycheck. And gave it to where it was needed at the time. That’s insane to work for the people free?
