    Where can I get replacement parts for this machine? can you replace the bladder in the artificial teat (suction head) or do you have to buy the whole thing when they go bad? Also the seals and O rings for the entire machine? Your hepl would be great. Thank you

    • @TheMacs1
      @TheMacs1  Před 4 lety

      Thank you for watching! And normally you can replace the internal suction cups however this machine I don’t think you can. I have found some replacement parts on amazon and some I had to go back to that machine and get email to contact seller in China.. (which was hard) I would try amazon and eBay first and then last resort would be the original selling company on amazon. The o rings I would see what size you need. Sometimes you can pick those up at a local machine shop or hardware store. Good luck!! Let us know how it goes!

    • @TheMacs1
      @TheMacs1  Před 4 lety

      I use this for two however the mitty supply milking machines that are US made are rated very well and I think a lot of people really like them. This one does fine now however it took time to get it right. Good luck and that’s awesome to milk three!!

    There’s no pressure involved as a vacuum bro

    • @TheMacs1
      @TheMacs1  Před 2 lety

      Vacuum pump, however when the system is closed and used, it builds the suction, we use a “pressure” gauge to monitor that. I didn’t get to wordy on the video

  • @smithrubio5606
    @smithrubio5606 Před 4 lety +1

    Would you still recommend this machine? I'm thinking about buying one. There is also a vacuum pump milking machine, it seems to be better in comparison to a piston milking machine

    • @TheMacs1
      @TheMacs1  Před 4 lety +2

      Hmmm, I would say this.. normally this is pretty cheap and I have used mine for over 18 months and it has done good once we did a little modification. I think for the money it is good and as long as they send you the whole machine correctly it’s worth the money. Most of these style cost double what this one does so for the money it is good. I have spoken to a ton of people with this machine and there have been a few lil minor issues people have had to work through but all in all we have gotten them on the right track. Good luck and if you get it and have a question let us know!!! Keep us updated what you decide to do!

      Tightened the belt, bought suction cups from miles supply. Helps keep pressure, also bought some vacuum oil to help keep it all greased well. Keep hoses on standby just in case for holes an all.

    I have this machine and my on/off switch stopped working last night. The ON stayed stuck pushed in and wouldn’t pop out (the OFF would push in and out). Finally got it working again and this morning, nothing. The ON pushes in and out, but no power. Any suggestions?

    • @TheMacs1
      @TheMacs1  Před rokem +1

      It’s going to be a connection issue. Take your switch out and see if something came undone. You will need some wire nuts to Ty it back in. Mine doesn’t have an off now so I just unplug when I get done using. Just because I am cheap and don’t wanna buy a new switch lol

      @@TheMacs1 thx. We took it apart last night to discover that the switch is enclosed in a plastic box. So, looks like we will have to completely break it to see if something came apart. Sigh. Maybe I should try milking by hand?! :-)

    • @romangt100
      @romangt100 Před 2 lety +1

      Even while the pressure is building the needle is jumping back and forth. When the pressure gets to 6, the needle continues to jump between 0-6 during milking.

    • @TheMacs1
      @TheMacs1  Před 2 lety

      Hmmm. That is crazy. Sounds like a hose is not connect or a lil leak, have you checked your pressure gauge to make sure it doesn’t have a crack, also the ball bearing in the top of milk top, is it greased to help it go up and down to help regulate?
