    You can see how at 0:25 you can kinda guess how it's post Opium War cause the German Empire owned Tsingdao(city in Shandong) and them taking Shandong isn't rly far fetched

    • @joshgoh4798
      @joshgoh4798 Před 2 lety +1

      In this timeline I'm guessing that presumably after this event and at the start of WW1, the Germans won WW1, and signed the the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, gained Ukraine, White Ruthenia, Poland and the Baltic States and the Finns got liberated, and they wouldn't have supported the White Russians during the Russian Civil War, resulting in a Soviet Victory like in our timeline. While I assume that Germany did punish the French, they wouldn't have so with the British to get on their good side.
      The only actual problem with this theory is that the Germans would also want to annex French Indochina and China after WW1 so yea

    • @joshgoh4798
      @joshgoh4798 Před 2 lety +1

      They actually did something like that during the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.
      Britain, Russia, Japan, France, Germany, the US, Italy and Austria-Hungary all fought on one side.
      It's like Marvel Infinity War but with imperial countries. 😄
      😄
      Maybe the Boxer Rebellion in this alternate timeline was significantly harder to crush, so they grew closer together.
      Because we all know that a common enemy brings people closer together. Especially when it is a stronger enemy.
      Edit:
      There is a song about the Boxer Rebellion called "55 Days at Peking".
      What's awesome about it is, that each participating nation has its own version in its own language.
