Another annoying part of the final level is the ring counter is always playing warning beeping sounds everytime the Sonics get to 30 to less, it would be better if it beeped if there was like 10 rings left or less.

I still maintain that this is one of the best platformers of all time. There is almost no padding and there is so much variety in terms of extra missions and fun gimmicks, it has great music, and highly replayable stages with fun to collect collectibles and so many branching paths. It even has some of the most fun boss fights ever.

This is one of the best sonic games but I wouldn't put it as far as the top 10 platformers of all time
all agreed, but i felt like the game REALLY could have benefitted from extra content, Imagine if we gotten any dlc packs with 3-5 stages from an entry. Just a miss opportunity, sadly.

I actually disagree on the camera regarding Classic Sonic. I think the dynamic camera shifting was a really cool way to emphasise the fact that despite playing in 2D only, Sonic is indeed inhabiting a 3D world. Back in the MD era when it was pixel art and fully 2D, you just had your imagination to go on.
Perfect Chaos was amazing, Sega took the opportunity of showing the original design of chaos and put it into action. It will forever be one of my favorite bosses in all of video games
Something that was odd to me when booting the game on the 360 version was that if you play modern Sonic first and you quick step, it doesn’t make the quick step sound. Not sure if the ps3 or pc versions had this.
That only happens when I use mods on the PC version so for me it's likely something with the mods

On the part about travelling through time and space: City Escape does take place in the past as you are being chased by a G.U.N truck, so they’re most likely all in their respective time zones.

Actually, you can use the elemental shields outside of bonus levels. The game has a feature where you can give Sonic specific upgrades, with the elemental shields being unlocked for purchase after these missions.

Sonic Generations is one of my favorite Sonic games ever, but my god is it short!

Just like what people says. He's always changes his mind which I sometimes agree with Bandy but I mostly disagree with Bandy's Opinions in SO MANY VIDEOS. Especially Ranking Game Videos. When I see Ranking Final Smashes Worst To Best. That video was okay but most of his opinions in the video was literally the WORST! The video is okay but it's actually the worst. Nathaniel Bandy makes his videos enjoyable but he literally has opinions which are wrong as hell in every video.

3:55 No. The reason they look different Is because It’s just a choose by the creators as a animation style like how Toon Links work only looks different because the creators choose for It to look that way like how the Sonic games go through 2D to 3D because of ANIMATION STYLE as A choice not because Reality got reset to look different (although that would explain A lot). So they actually are traveling through time as well.

I like how they remade the Egg Dragoon boss fight in this game, brings back memories playing Sonic Unleashed
True. Generations did good at reusing the levels cause they redesigned the classic, adventure style and boost levels to fit the two Sonics’ play styles. Especially the bosses, but I still prefer the Werehog version of the egg dragoon boss cause that version had better presentation, like you’re fighting eggman on a chunk of platform falling into the earth with nothing but your bare hands… claws… whatever he has.

That noise you heard while you were underwater in Chemical Plant was from the original classic games.
Nathaniel, I liked your LEGO Mario/ LEGO Luigi Ark so much that I came up with another Ark you can do in the future! “The Cartridge Ark.” Basically it starts with you losing your Sm64 Cartridge and having to go buy a new one. You get one off a shady guy in the street but something is off about it. It’s slightly creepier than the original game and Mario can move on his own. It turns out then that the cartridge is cursed just like LEGO Mario and as you play it, the game cartridge slowly takes control over you. You start to be moved around in real life by Mario in the game. So Mario plays you instead of you playing him. Go whichever direction you like with this idea

Sonic Generations for the 3DS may've not been as grand as the console/PC versions, but I've liked how it took inspiration from the handheld games.. with Emerald Coast acting almost like a Neo Green Hill and Radical Highway acting as a Route 99. Plus, I think actually uses the Pinball music for its Casino Night.

It would've been cool if when playing city escape as classic sonic, each time you encountered the truck and miss it, you saw modern sonic running away from it in another part of the stage
Imagine if when playing as the different sonics, you see the other running around in the background. Like as classic sonic, you see modern sonic running up the side of the clock tower in rooftop run

About the wisps, it does sort of slow the game down but not as much as what this footage claims it to be. For the Spike wisp, you can spin dash on those gears to complete the puzzle much faster.
I really like how bathaniel says the reasons on how sonic generations is mind blowing (considering the fact that sonic generations is my favorite game in the franchise)

I never had that issue with the text in the configuration. Also, the Sonic Colours spike wisp sections work with the spindash if they’re feeling too slow.

This is just how I would’ve made the game but I would’ve tried to make sure that Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic had an equal amount of boss fights.
Perhaps they could add a couple unexpected boss fights to even out the roster a bit? Perhaps you could fight the Babylon Rogues, Gemerl, or King Arthur? And maybe to mix things up the Bossfight in the game could have the opposite sonic fighting it, like Classic Sonic vs a Modern Boss and vice versa?
It would’ve made things a little bit more interesting.
