They definitely can. I have the gla45 2015 and I’m in used car sales and to this day I haven’t had anything come in sound nearly as good. Metal intake manifolds + thick high quality piping all throughout goes miles in creating a great sounding 4pot
I bought my gla45 based on your cla45 review back in the day so good to see you still shining some light on these. In the used market they’re sub $30k, reliable If you grab the right one (well serviced) and sooo special feeling. This will likely be a very good buy in a few years
Love my 2020 cla 35 with aero package, communications package and amg performance seats. Only thing I don't like is the gears being on the side of the steer wheel (because I'm old school) and sometimes the transmission because it's DCT. Sound could be a bit better but that's what I get for a 4 banger. Probably will do a stage 2 with upgraded pipes and intercooler for a a little more power
If this was filmed over the weekend I’m pretty sure I was behind you while you were driving it. It was that car for sure. I want to say Saturday afternoon?
Nice review Mat. Could you allow captions on the video if possible? I'm thinking about replacing my Mazdaspeed 6 but im having a hard time letting go of it. Not much AWD turbo manuals left except for Subie. I realy like the new RS3. I also found a CT4-V Blackwing Manual for about the same price. I know you rave about the supercruise for trips. So, sacrifice the AWD for the Manual or vice versa?
The video should have captions generated automatically and be viewable. I’m not sure if it takes a little time or not. As for your question, it really depends on whether you value a manual or AWD more. I compare them both a lot in my RS3 review and the CT4 Blackwing week videos if you’d like more thoughts on it.
@Nick Berkel i think i watched it right close to when it came out. So youtube hadnt captioned it yet. I know I've turned on captions for his other vids.
Hi Matt! I don't mean to be annoying but if you don't get the proximity key as an option, can you still take the push button start out and insert the key in like in the older (2017 and below) Mercedes models? Thank you Matt!
Actually crazy how ugly that green wrap is. I mean it looks beyond horrible. Fun cool little car though. I have an m340i and that little baby amg seems really cool
good review, I traded in my A35 a few weeks ago and i generally agree with the things you pointed out. especially the squeaks and rattles part 😅 was a blast to rip around in though with the exhaust
What Euro competitor makes one that doesn't squeak and rattle? I'm looking at some cars right now. My wife has a 23 S4 that we love, but I can't afford another one of that price range. BMW doesn't offer the M stuff on the 230i now.
@@Stclairm1 I replaced the A35 with an M340i and after about 5500 miles it has zero rattles and squeaks. Night and day from the Mercedes. I think a 230i would be built to the same standard, they're both made at the same factory and have very similar interior designs. Anecdotally I've now owned 3 cars made in mexico (2 GTI's previously) and they had the best build quality of any cars i've owned. Compared to made in Germany modern cars 🤔
@@myemailiscool that is wild. I’m also very seriously considering the Arteon awd and S3. If I remember correctly, I though the S3 with sport suspension rode a little rough. The Arteon was great. I’m selling my 2020 Camaro SS 1LE after just over 3 years. My 51 year old self is tired of the ride.
@@Stclairm1 Totally understandable, the A35 had the same issue where the ride and loud NVH wore me down over a few years. S3 i've test driven and it's a small car like the A35 and it didn't have the ride/refinement of the bigger Audi's. The Arteon would be a great pick IMO, it's an A5 that looks better and is more rare. And has the VW infotainment system that still works well, unlike the new ones. And has the Golf R motor...
@@myemailiscool finally someone who gets the “small” car ride issue! I was truly shocked by how much I liked the Arteon. That Golf R/S3 drivetrain are perfect for that car.
The Harrison Auto Sales is a total throw back Matt!
Going back to his roots
Only the OG’s rmbr Harrison auto sales
Harrison stil goin strong?!
This felt like an old Subaruwrxfan video! Thanks for the review.
Love the classic style review Matt! Nice touches as well to keep it exciting. Thanks for another solid video!
Harrison Auto Sales back in the mix. Yeah Boi!!!
If this is a stock exhaust from MB, others should learn that a turbo 4 can sound impressive if they put some effort. Great review Matt.
Thanks Kyle!

Obviously 4cyl that is^ lmao
Everything about that car is awesome except for that red on the interior but man that looks like fun
Good ol' Harrison Auto Sales, SubaruWRXFan may be in the Shadow Realm but they live on with Best Matt! 😆
Haha thanks for being around long enough to remember them!

5:33 That was a fantastic honest surprise and real joy. 🙂 Thanks for the review, Matt.
The Miltary Green is Not Money 😅
That colour is amazing
Refreshing to see your good ol reviews again, and from good ol Harrison auto sales! Like the look of mercedes and sounds nice! 😎👍
Man the car provided by Harrison Auto Sales is a blast from the past. Great review, love these cars.
Thanks Haris!
Great review! That looks pretty tempting as a fun wife car 🤔
I like it! I would pick the RS3 over it, but this is a good one.
Was sceptical of the new gen CLA but they're actually pretty cool in person, not as subtle as they seem
Next you need to review the cla 45! I think it’s way better than the new Rs3!
Hope the next video is with a car from S.Park Mitsubishi
Haha I appreciate you being around long enough that you remember them!

Nostalgic intro, now we need to see South Park Mitsubishi!
I love this pick. Mercedes has some nice driver’s cars.
Thanks David, glad you liked it!
This or a 2021 E 350 ? Please help

This was filmed on Friday afternoon.
Yep, now that I think about it that's what it day it was. Should have got your autograph 😆!
@@LT4POWERED Haha that's awesome! Maybe I'll see you again sometime!
Maybe! My pic beside my name was taken in the same park you were filming in. Been running there for years...

Captions worked for me. Watched this review while on the treadmill and had them on so I didn't have to have the volume on max...

I don’t like all this 4cyl stuff these days

No problem! I don’t think it works like that with the newer Mercedes key fob, but I could be wrong.
Nope you cant insert key
@@deniznarli2535 I see, thank you for the clarification! :)
Another one of your "nice" reviews!
test the c-klass?
Wow! You're doing Harrison Auto sales again?
Yep! Trying to get back to my roots to help the channel, we'll see if it works! lol
I expect that this is the pricing range the Integra type s is aiming for, I'll be interested to see how it stacks up from a performance standpoint

I love the 35 but it’s wayyyyy overpriced for a 300hp car. I also thought they were going to stop making them?
A Class is going away but not the CLA as far as I know.
It honestly rips for a little 4 cylinder. Picked one up for my wife yesterday and I am pleasantly surprised on how fun it is.
Wrap has to go
Not a fan of that wrap. Looks cheap and old.
