  • Welcome back, adventurers!
In today's episode, join us as we embark on an unforgettable journey through the vibrant city of Copenhagen before setting sail to explore an ancient fort.
Our family is always on the lookout for new experiences, and this trip promises to be one for the books!
Our day begins in the heart of Copenhagen, a city known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and charming canals. From the iconic Nyhavn harbor to the majestic Amalienborg Palace, we leave no stone unturned as we immerse ourselves in the culture and beauty of this Scandinavian gem.
After days filled with exploration and discovery, it's time to set our sights on our next destination: an old fort steeped in history and mystery. As we sail towards the fort, the excitement builds, and we can't wait to uncover the secrets that lie within its ancient walls.
The fort, with its towering walls and labyrinthine passages, offers a glimpse into the past. We spend the day delving into its history, exploring both the inside and outside, and imagining the lives of those who once called this place home.
As the sun sets, we prepare to set sail once more, this time in search of a safe anchoring spot to shield us from the forecasted strong winds. Little do we know, the night ahead will test our resilience and seamanship like never before.
What was supposed to be a peaceful night turns into a rolly battle against the elements. We left the anchor place the day after, with the wind howling, the waves crashed. And our boat hits the ground not once, but twice! The rolly night and hard day at sea leaves us exhausted and questioning if we'll have the energy to celebrate Karoline's birthday the next day.
Will we recover from this challenging day and night at sea? Can we muster the strength and spirit to make Karoline's birthday a memorable celebration?
Join us as we navigate the highs and lows of life on the water, and find out if we can turn the tide in our favor.
Hit that subscribe button, give us a thumbs up, and ring the bell to stay updated on all our adventures.
Until next time, fair winds and following seas!

Wow, many wonderful places in Copenhagen. I read that Youth Island was created as a place for youths to develop creative ideas, so I think it is an appropriate stop for the Flinskau girls as they set about upon their enterprise. Pretty silver atmosphere at 20:14. But then we see a weary skipper battling rough seas for a lengthy spell! Navigation charts cannot always be relied upon. Prosperity is tossed and turned, but the crew is undistressed. A nice family party to close.

Hello Frank, yes indeed, we had a great time in Denmark. And the Youth Island was actually recommended to us from a couple of friends back home, so that was fun to see:) We used apps and several weather predictions, but still ended up in trouble. But at always, it is just so important to stay calm and positiv, it will go over, and become better;) And in our next episode we do get some lovley weather and cool experiences, even if we unexpected had to sail through a construction site...
