    Potassium (K)
    Beet leaves 1 cup …… 1300 mgs
    Swiss chard 1 cup …… 900 mgs
    Spinach 1 cup …… 840 mgs
    Beets 1 cup ……. 520 mgs
    Avocado med …… 500 - 700 mgs
    Banana med …… 425 mgs
    Papaya half …… 390 mgs
    Raisins 1/4 cup …. 270 mgs
Just in case someone wants the values!
Interestingly, I adore beetroot, avocado, pawpaw/papaya, raisins etc. I have heart issues and a Cardiologist put me on a Potassium drug to help stop the Angina attacks I was having!
    I can’t tolerate Beta-blockers or Calcium-channel blockers.

Thanks Doc. My BP has improved significantly since I do eat lots of avocados, papaya, bananas, guava, spinach, salmon, taro leaves & yes octopus on occasion. Oh, we’re in Hawaii. Aloha, Leilani

You left out one of the best foods: legumes. 1/2 cup of pinto beans is nearly 500 mg. The other thing worth noting is how we hear all the time that most Americans are severely deficient in D3; but I bet we are even more deficient in potassium - by a lot. Especially given how much sodium is in the typical standard American diet. Thanks for your videos - a true blessing.

Beet powder with oat mill is a great way. Beet power with Mash Potatoes. The great thing about Beet powder is you hardly taste it and its an OK taste. I indirectly got this idea from one of your videos regarding beet powder. Beet Power can be put into a lot of things like Quina, Rica, Cheese sauce, etc.. For you keto lovers. IT works well with Chopped liver too. lol

Ok this just burns.. my dear husband 70 years old goes to Dr this morning and his blood pressure was 119 over 70, he smokes a pack a day, eats whatever he wants to when he wants to. He does spend lots of time outdoors more than I do. I do all the things and my bp is never that low. I fast deep breathe, recumbent bike, squeeze the ball, cold showers, keto and take 30 mg of Lisinopril daily. And my bp is mostly way too high. I take magnesium, garlic , ashwaganda , etcetc etc. I do have lots of pain from arthritis but I'm very amazed by this. Sad thing is I will probably live longer than him anyway so I can suffer more! Sorry for the rant . 🙁

One of the things that helped me the most when I was getting stoved up was I stopped eating white bread, so then I stopped eating wheat grain processed things. no soft drinks just water. Lost weight like mad and I no longer had to bend down on one knee to pick something off the floor, I can run up and down stairwells I can move freely. You can take good things but it's the bad things that are holding you back. Skip the sugar, processed grains, and get out and walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk. Blood pressure comes from your middle section, and to change it will take months.

So I am in a quandary as to if I eat Potassium until pill change? I do not want a stroke! I would love to get off meds for BP all together been on them way way too long..I enjoy your videos thank you.. I need to rewatch our where to start!

Sweet potatoes and regular potatoes, bok choy, beans are also high in potassium.
Interesting....bananas, papaya, avocado are all 'latex' foods. Potatoes are bad for inflammation, eg fibromyalgia, etc.. Possible conflicting types of reactions to potassium foods?

      Best, is using Himalayan/Celtic salts
It tastes like regular salt, but has magnesium and potassium, enough to cancel the harmful effects
      If sodium alone .
