  • Join my friend and I and his dog o an awesome adventure up in some undisclosed mountains looking for some awesome minerals. I absolutely love fluorite and this was such an amazing experience. To see all of these cubes in their natural environment was eye opening. There really isn't anything easy about getting this stuff up out of the ground. I really have a new appreciation of my personal favorite mineral. Like, share and subscribe for more videos like this.

    I can respect your decision to not say anything about where you are. I have been a sub for a long time and I have never tried to go where you have been but I certainly want to. It's a shame that people are screwing those places up with trash and shit. It isn't right bur rockhounds have a code they live by when it comes to that. Most rockhounds just want specimens to collect, not to be greedy and sell. We always end up to where places get shut down for leaving holes everywhere and people end up falling in them and try to sue the owner because they where careless and its their own stupidity.

      I know of two of those scumbag prospector types that take up every single shiny bit of crystals or minerals for profit. I've made the mistake of showing people my secret spots only for those POSs to go and leave the entire hillside barren and full of holes. I will not ever show anyone where these places are because of people I have met along the way. Thank you for watching my videos!

      @@ADRIAN_EXPLORES_NEW_MEXICO well its knowingly been there for awhile. I think there is still good stuff around. I was not able to go very far. The road got really rough and I was going to hike it but my dog wimped out. So I looked around where I parked

    Awesome video!!! Would be such an amazing time going there, even just too see and experience the geology. I went to a fluorite mine as a child and can’t remember where in New Mexico it was, I’ll be definitely researching! Happy hunting dude

      Where in the Organ Mountains have you found flourite? I live at the foot of them and never found one crystal.

      @armancha23 Před 2 lety

      @@8621Charro area is unstable and closed off, but hayner mine runs miles through the organs. There's an old rockhouse on one of the trails. As you pass that house a mile there is a slight trail to the right side that has a safe cave to cool off In.
      The mine area is the main trail veering left past the old transmission (if it's still there)
