Cerium oxide is glass polish. Tin/Aluminum oxide is plastic polish. Very big
difference in surface finish.

請問魚缸有刮痕 要用幾目的砂紙來拋光？
不太容易, 買了不少配件, 最後還是使用電鑽+ 中,細羊毛氈 搞了很久, 減少了很多, 但還沒完全弄到 無刮痕, 但到少弄到 對向車來不會有 炫光. 問了外面個人 在幫別人處理的, 一大片要 5張小朋友. 半片也要 3張. 對了介質我是用 玻璃抛光鈰粉, 最好先作好防噴, 不然會噴得到處都是

When it scratches with the finger, the sound is of plexiglass, not safety glass
The surface becomes so hot the water is evaporating quickly... Plexiglass or Lexan would melt with all that heat. It has to be glass. Not sure what he used to scratch it, very hard rock of some type most likely. The process is impressive. He corrected it in no time. I would have taken more time just to keep the glass cooler.
