Hey everyone it’s Reisshub, and Welcome back to another fortnite battle royale vid! Today Epic just released the new ranger shotgun! Hope you enjoy!
#Reisshub #Fortnite #FNCS - Hry
Sorry for the lack of videos lately, had some crazy stuff going on the last few months especially with a bunch of travelling for casting / analysis work. Have plans to try and fix this for the future as I love making this content and want to keep up the 2x a week uploads.
Who cares most of your videos are extremely well built
❤️
No problem, man u the goat of fortnite info don't sweat it man whatever u went through i hope u got over iy
You queero anyway
It’s okay this vid was great
Nah I disagree with you, the decline in viewerahip is mainly becuase of the decline of players playing comp in general. Annoying spray meta, server lags, poor lootpool etc. Actually the official broadcast always manage to find fights till endgame
All of that stuff was also on the list that I showed as the top matter that people gave as their reason for not watching. Of course the other stuff was still very relevant
Just made this same comment before scrolling down but this is 100% accurate. He's speaking from a comp player viewpoint and not just a normal viewer.
Overbuilding causing the average player to have no idea what’s going on
@@cobalt7781not overbuilding you just have a skill issue gng
If you are SOOOOO good then don’t complain about spray meta
It’s the literal only way we can win against you
What do you think about adding a surge bonus for actually securing the kill rather than just farming tags? So you get your surge tags like normal, but then you also get some number (50 or 100) of additional surge every time you secure an elimination. That will reward the players more aggressively finding surge rather than just sitting on a hill plinking 28s with an Aug.
But if you kill steal someone?
Great idea though
I mean you get supposedly 200 damage for killing a player, then you can get 100 damage off of the knocked body, so an extra 100 to make it 400 surge might be interesting.
Actual pros will fight against any changes. We just have to hope that people don't parrot what the pros say.
@marnixFN ofc kills are gonna be stolen thats part of the game
The x2 points is a great idea. To clear up confusion. When looking at points from the game, you could have placement, elimination, 2x elimination. This would be a great utility for teams who are behind to utilize for a comeback.
a lot of flaws wen u genuinely think about it
@@treservinnn What flaws are you seeing with it out of curiosity. The highest point teams wouldn't abuse this, b/c they'd focus more on placement, whereas lower placing teams could use this as a catch up period. If they happen to push a high ranking team, they either kill them and increase their chances at catching up, or they die and the high ranking team lead extends further. Either way it forces a team that wouldn't typically fight to fight.
with surge it is going to way harder to explain to casual people how it works, while before it was really easy to understand as there are only 3 thresholds at 3 key points in the game
Imagine there was a surge multiplier for like shotgun damage. Wouldn't that encourage more close range fighting because teams could do all there surge in 1 fight and then focus rotating later on? Because the meta for midgame right now is just sitting on elevation getting AR tags (also because how laggy fighting is ofc.)
this video is actually so good, the midgame of stacked games is actually pretty boring now that I think about it and your solution of rewarding midgame fights is elite. I hope epic sees this vid
Great job on the video, sry about the update on storm surge the next day lol
I watched Aussie Antics VP for semis and it was a lot more entertaining than previous seasons. One big problem ive noticed is when a player is rebooted the team lose that players surge damage very unfair
Petition for reisshub to be a commentator on the next Fortnite world cup
You still can make midgame shorter but you have to make sure there is enough good movement. + movement that doesn't effect other players.
Comp doesn’t feel like it used to be back in the days sadly
put a meter range on surge in some parts of the zone, surge damage doesn’t count if you’re 10-25 boxes away from an opponent. forcing players to engage
Once again amazing editing work Reiss. Really great video.
Kills should count toward storm surge in my opinion rather than just damage. I've won my spawn fights and been below storm surge on more than one occasion. If kills were weighted heavily toward storm surge compared to damage, this would also encourage more fighting rather than just long range tags.
I think rewarding Kills with more Points During a specific time Span would make It lese transparent to retrace the leaderboard
true. you could setup to fight people as a player at a sertan time to get those exstra points. you dont even need to fully eliminate players
You could have the points say eliminations, 2x eliminations, and placement. That would make it easier to track and would cause no confusion. I think this is a great idea bc it allows teams to come from behind by being aggressive then.
I think that the idea with double elim points in midgame isn't bad but it would ruin all low to mid point lobby's in cashcups where U get 10 player movings anyway
This would only work in set lobby finals
Maybe just a finals thing?
Low to mid point lobby's in cash cups are already ruined.
@@FatalNFlawless depends on the region you're playing. On eu you almost always have surge in moving zones.
In finals they already have a different scoring system than in opens, so this change could only applied in finals if they wanted to.
About decreasing the midgame zone times, idk if games are in any way different from competitive than regular battle royale, but if they’re the same then changing zone times would affect all players from all skill levels which Epic wouldn’t want
I'm happy that they added mid-game objectives like caches, towers & island
yeah, makes it a lot more interesting
i think adding a placmeent kills system would work like in apex legends which in early game grants no points then goes to 1 then 2 then goes to 4 then so on and on. this might reward placement and getting those clutches feel more worth while. however the downside would be if you live till end game and win your points would get out of hand and could place so high with a high kill win. in apex you get max 125 points for the final kill of the game which grants you so many points which could set you apart from the rest of the comp scene if this was in fortnite
Haven't finished vid yet but so far so good! keep it up
Giving money per elimination to the team who has the most kills during midgame and throwing something more tempting like automatic qualifying for the next big event if certain conditions are met, may work
I think that making the fortnite map smaller would lead to more fighting in the midgame. It would make the zone close in faster, but still give teams time to loot off spawn and rotate. This is what makes apex legends fun to watch throughout the entire match.
Top notch video, great to see u back!
Ofc Reiss comes back w/ a *BANGER* ! This such a great video. I think Jur3ky in your twitter comments is on to something.
I mean if fortnite actually cared much about the comp scene they would do the obvious and give what the players want ( not like more prize pol or shit like that, just vault smg, the meta is ass, bring back late game, and actually try to make arena competitive), but ofc none of this will happen, epic are just patting them selves in the back thinking the games being more difficult so there are less people competing, Like NO, people cant be bothered to play in this current state of the game. Also the server lag is unbearable, the comp scene is in a crippling state and honestly lost all hope in the game to actually fix things for the better
Fax areas is more anoying and Boring then competitive
I can agree but we need at least one smg
The new surge tactic should only be for round 2-4, opens is way too chaotic and there are already a good amount of fighting
I kind of like those not as stacked end games like we had on late chapter 1 and early chapter 2
Love the idea of surge changes. Hope that helps with performance and an increase in action. The other problem with competitive Fortnite viewership is the players and analysts telling people the game sucks. Years of negative marketing from influential people takes its toll and it's silly to believe otherwise. Think how this video might have been different if it just focused on the surge changes and how cool that might be along with other ideas for improvement.
When i played scrims/tournaments alot i used to love boxing up on hills n shit, best bit of the match lmao
Absolutely enjoyed this video as usual :) you are the best!
What a great video produced, your videos are always satisfying to watch. Terrific!
I think in pubs before first circle there’s already like under 60-50 players which is insane to think that in comp there could be over 70 players after 3rd zone 🤯
pub players are most likely to be actually bots or bad players so thats why there is a lot of chaos.
I think storm surge needs to be active in arena contenders league so newer players can expririence the real competetive gaming in FN
thats crazy i was just staying up watching ur vids and refresh and u posted a new one for us
I dont like watching competitive but the way you present is makes it interesting to watch
This video is so well thought out and so well said thank you reisshub
Even tho it’s been going down I got back into playing and watching comp fortnite 🔥🔥
I would propose a waning elimination point boost beginning from the beginning of the match until the 20:00 mark. The first 2:00 minutes get a 2x multiplier, the second 2:00 get a 1.9x multiplier, the third 2:00 get a 1.8x multiplier, etc. This encourages more contested drops and fighting earlier in the game with diminishing rewards towards the end of the match to boost better end-game strategies.
I love these vids you make reisshub
what if they give another point per kill to encourage people to fight a little bit more and can allow for some more comebacks if some gets an insane amount of kills
If they gave as many drops as rocket league. Like actual items that aren’t sprays and emoticons I’d never stop watching. And also keep of who actually dies so we know who is still playing
Mate mid game is hella important my be boring but it’s important and Aussie antics casts most events on the main regions and Timmy does oce + other regions will have their own cast
Put launchpad towers on the edge of the map. Then they could rotate better. People would land edge map in pubs more too
or just make damage surge to be in a closer range which would force people to fight
imagine if in competitive, besides the random bus track in the map also we get to see a storm location (that erases 20% of the map) right in the beginning of the match, and then it’s fine to low the midgame time
it would make players have 2 or 3 dropspots instead of 1, because the storm could erase the dropspot. early game is way more sweaty because there would be no fixed map spots that each team drop
the game needs some randomness, but competitively. everyone knows exactly what to do, and where to go, before the start of the match. the game needs to value more the thinking reaction!
That's actually an interesting idea. A bit RNG, but not the worse idea I've ever heard
@@Reisshub if the team knows the map and 3 landspots, it won’t have RNG
they need to have the kill feed up at all times! that way we know if the player we are supporting has been killed
What If epic reduced the Server Performance drastically on purpose in Order to Change the storm surge mechanic. BC last time the Feedback wasnt that great and they want more content for the Cast During mid game
bro predicted the enterity of chapter 4
Shortening the mid game would not make the game more random or luck based, people would just be more inclined to drop closer to the center of the map where it’s easier for them to stay in zone. It would be more difficult and more crowded, less players landing on the edge of the map. Probably would be more entertaining too
1. Bring back Stark Season Meta and Lootpool
2. Make Arena more rewarding while increasing points for kills.
3. Make the game as non-ping reliant as possible.
AND BOOM! You have a good game. (Also make the game look more colorful and vibrant. Basically give it the old vibe it use to have.)
this is how to improve arena not tournaments
ur so good i don’t play fn but still watch u
Great video as always 👌🏻
As a viewer i never watch any mid game, and if i do i only do it to see how pros are moving to get a good positioning.
I was stalking your channel an am now early
I would make the map smaller, nobody cares about some parts of the map, especially that beach island parts, just take them out, this would make the mid game shorter, the map more appealling and fighting of spawn really exciting as you can get faster to other near fights that are happening.
The new surge changes should help a little bit but I think it will quite quickly get boring, anyway we will see how it works in heats tonight
That we will broski
wey@@Reisshub
The new surge change is very good for the mid game
id like a tournament test giving points depending on how many zones you live through on top of placement and kills. might be a bad idea but who knows
Why?
Just change the meta, lootpool and the map, thats what made fortnite competitive so popular on c2 s2/s3/s4
My dream solution, make the map smaller maybe even by alot and maybe a little less players per match. Would make everything go quicker.
Now de storm surge changed completely
I think they should add storm surge for different guns like shotguns so they will fight
yo god vids lately
For me this released at 4. Am
If a kill gives 2 points the player that can fight are going to wcay and the players that have to rotate becouse are late or want to loot can,
Kills already give 2 points in set lobbies
@@kh3ddy376 sorry what is set lobbys??
I was playing a scrim and there were 65 so surge popped up and I was over peeking but then a kid dies and it was 69 kids(nice) and surge didn’t disappear and I got psychoed
I feel like it’s the map size that makes mid game so bad. The map is too big everyone is spread out. The chapter 1 map had people not so far from each-other which just made it make sense to fight.
You can't just make the map smaller tho
Honestly I want to know if going back to lan tourneys will help increase viewership
This is what happen when you forced a not competitive game to be competitive,
It doesn't work and all the players will camp for all the matches
What if they made the map around 25% smaller?
Tbh,i understand the ppl who hate midgame, the only reason i like it is because im trying to become pro so i need to watch to improve, but its not as fun as early game and end game
yo epic actually listened
IMO Fortnite messed up with competitive from the start. They should’ve started with squad tournaments. When comp started there were many orgs that had full Fortnite “teams” that were set up for squads.Faze,Liquid,NRG,TSM the list goes on.And still to this day they’ve never had a FNCS for squads. So what happened?Well all the big orgs pulled out and they either shut the team down or the players quit.Having these orgs interested and having a team dedicated to your game was huge. The orgs and players would’ve bolstered the hype thru their socials which could’ve created team tribalism much like team based sports do.Kind of like OWL did, their problem tho was Overwatch wasn’t very interesting to watch as a spectator and to anyone that didn’t play the game it was hard to follow what was going on.But still I think Fortnite would’ve benefited from an approach like that and once they crowned the best team, then they could’ve started breaking it down to duos and solos. At that point they would’ve started developing “stories” and narrative to draw spectators in and keep things entertaining.Like whatever squad won, well now we get to find out who was carrying the team, was it the aggressive player with god given aiming ability or the IGL with rock solid mechanics and game sense?Or if a squad had a fallout and disbanded or a player got kicked, well now how will they do against each other? Will the kicked player redeem themselves and get revenge, or will it be proven they were the weak link that needed to be cut??And I’ve felt this way since they started comp, so this is just the tip of the iceberg on my opinion of Fortnite’s comp scene.I could go on and on about the mistakes they’ve made pertaining to the way they structured competitive.
this is why late game arena was the best gamemode
Love your videos but I had to slow this down to .75 speed to catch what you were saying bro! much love x
I'll slow down in the future! :D thanks for letting me know
I think the decline in viewership has as much to do with people being sick of confusing and ugly 50 man final zones with everyone tunneling/turtling. People liked that back in 2019, but in 2022, it's predictable and stale.
I watch a lot of competitive fortnite and really I think it’s the weapons I just don’t like that’s in competitive right now. Like I don’t mind watching a whole game it’s enjoyable I can see how it might be boring to the casual audience but let’s be real that casual audience the reason they don’t know strategies and why teams do what they do in those mid games. Is because a lot of the time their games only last 14 minutes at most because everyone is w keying. so to punish competive fortnite for them being overly aggressive in there match doesn’t make sense since they don’t have anything on the line.
Love your videos
Couldn’t they just make the map smaller? Increase the amount of materials you get from harvesting and maybe increase the loot, wouldn’t this kind of sort out the boring mid-game by a bit? I understand some people like the big map and I do too, but if it makes it more enjoyable to watch surely that’s better for the game in the long-run.
They should just speed up zones
big issue fortnute competitive the loot pool we should have
Normal ar grey ledgendarh
Heavy assualt rifle green to blue
Pump shotty
Charge shotty
normal smg grey to blue
bolt sniper one shot headshot
epic could also possibly add something like a loot refill between early and end game to give players another reason to fight
Just double or triple points for kills at certain points in the match, this way teams don’t have to fight but teams that want to in order to get a boost in points can.
Add 50 more players. Auto-delete all builds and irrelevant data outside of early circles to increase server performance
I think world cup would be better if they let me fly around dropping legendary loot.
I think another big reason why people stopped watching competitive is Performance Mode, it honestly just looks terrible from a viewers perspective. Dx11 is better
another reason is that it is absolut boring to watch no name teams in fncs qualifiers and heats (no offense to those teams) because everyone already qualed. Even though
i think the system to qual improved over time fncs still is no proper competitive system for this game, its boring to watch and also boring to play because for lower ranked players there is nothing to play
I honestly just don’t like watching the fortnite broadcast if much rather just watch some one stream their pov but no one does that now a days
i think the games decline is the reason for the drop in competitive its so repetitive
idk if its a good idea but maybe try to do 5 points per kill in midgame and normal points per kill in endgame
Just make elims 2 points instead of one more people will fight but no so much that the game is like 20 man 1st moving people will still need to win the game but you can’t fall to behind on elims either
elim points are at 2 in most tournaments, and have been for a while.
Why dont they make the kill points a lot more???
Because that would devalue the win and that’s what a battle Royale is about
Competitive Fortnite has been completely broken going back to the World Cup days. Other than the obsessed, no one wants to watch 20 minutes of people avoiding each other for placement, or watch 50 man final zones with everyone turtling up.
With so many players in such a small zone, it becomes a confusing mess and very much impossible to follow everyone. An utter joke, tbh.
Idk what they need to do *now* but frankly, I think they were on the right path when they nerfed turbo building after world cup.
Either way, they need more action in the mid game, and way fewer people at the end, and tunneling/turtling needs to stop.
V spit facts
Great video!
Endgames are way too congested and I think less players would be better.
They could just have reisshub explain it to us
Reisshub i think because of this video they're making the map smaller for more action
I feel like mid game is a important part. If the viewer doesn’t like it then it’s probably not for them. That’s the point of the game. survival
