There is no fuel available on the Trace itself since the entire 444 miles are a national park. However, there are lots of stations in the various towns along the way. My advice would be to fuel up in Natchez or Nashville before beginning the Trace. If you need more diesel you'll probably find it in nearby towns along the way.
