    • @Tigernor
      @Tigernor  Před 9 měsíci

      Hello! Changed the shimming in the crank, check if the multirib belt has been changed. check if the idler for the multirib belt is ok. if the multi-ribbed belt breaks, you will damage the engine.

    • @johncoady9237

      @@Tigernor when you say multi rib belt you mean the timing belt?

    • @Tigernor
      @Tigernor  Před 9 měsíci

      Hello! no. multirib belt is the one that sits on the dynamo, the one you can see, the timing belt you can't see, then you have to dismantle some covers. multirib belt pulls dynamo and servo steering, hope this helps a bit :-)

    After how many miles/ km need to change the timing belt?

    • @Tigernor
      @Tigernor  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi,Your owner's manual is a good resource and will indicate the mileage interval recommended for your specific vehicle make and model. Depending on the manufacturer of the vehicle, mileage ranges for recommended timing belt replacement is anywhere from 60,000 miles to 100,000 miles and 6-10 years old. Also change fan belt.

    • @Tigernor
      @Tigernor  Před 3 lety

      Hi
      You have to change the water pump, if you buy a timing belt set, it must be included. And then you have to change the multi-rib Drive Belts. If there's anything, just ask. :-)

    Hi are these an Interference engine?

    • @Tigernor
      @Tigernor  Před 3 lety +1

      yes, it is an interference engine.Because the timing chain/belt is broken, the valves aren't moving, which means some of them are stuck in the open position. If the piston travels far enough in the cylinder to actually hit the open valves, that's an interference engine.

    Hi, can you tell me what happen when timing belt skeps on the theese... is it danger ?

    • @Tigernor
      @Tigernor  Před 3 lety

      Hi, If the timing belt is not on the marks, the pistons will go in the valves. then you have to change valves, it is a lot of work and expensive, the marks must be on the camshaft and crankshaft, do not have to be on the mark on the diesel pump. hope this helps you :-)
