Wallace & Gromit In Project Zoo PS2 100% Longplay

- Ah, Wallace & Gromit, the classic stopmotion duo that bought fame and glory to the world. So of course we get a game based on them and it's... cracking good fun.
Wallace & Gromit pay a visit to see Archie but Feathers McGraw has escaped from prison and kidnapped him so the pair give chase in this exciting adventure.
Control Gromit through various locations ranging from a jungle to the depths of a volcano, the main objective is to rescue all of the caged animals and collect a certain amount of tools plus nuts and bolts to gain access to new areas as well as inventing new weapons to use against the robot penguins and shoot obstacles down which Wallace will take care of. There's also coins to be found as well by finding them in hidden places, doing some puzzles and tackling bonus levels which are pretty challenging.
It's a great adventure game with music that fits the atmosphere, creative level design, simple yet fun combat, a great amount of collectibles to find and the charm from the world W&G is here. Only small complaint is that the controls can be a bit stiff when it comes to jumping but apart from that, cracking game overall.
For any W&G fans out there, you won't go wrong with this game and Curse Of The Were-Rabbit too which is based on the hit feature-length movie.

I wonder why they never reworked the Wallace & Gromit games. I loved both so much! Even though as a child back then I was bothered that they didn't dubbed the curse of the were rabbit in my native language even though they did in project zoo. These games are full of lovely details. 🥰
They should remaster this game, I’d love it for the Nintendo Switch 😍

Dude same. Played it like five years straight until our ps2 died. I brought a used one a few years ago and looked for this game and I swear... The moment it started was pure childhood 🥺
This was the first PS2 game I got, so many memories of 7 yo me trying to beat the game in one sitting cuz I didn't have a memcard *sigh

My life atm, have the game downloaded but saving crashes the emulator, still worth every second it plays great.
It doesn't crash for me on Pcsx2, it looked a tad better on xbox though i feel@@iguran6035
@@MrGemyStone try messing with your resolution settings, i found with my version i could get nearly hd quality when the resolution matched my monitor, but any scaling even down and quality suffered which i found odd.
Same! My mum got me a playstation for my birthday in July and I had to wait until Christmas for her to get me a memory card 😅

sadly I haven't played it, and now watching this 100% play through is showing me what have I missed.
my ps2 have died years ago so even if I found a copy now I can't play it 😔

I just 100% this game just now, I will say that the biggest pain will have to be the two Bonus Levels in the fire world.
1:17:25 Those bloody one-hit-kill barrels and that short time limit.
1:28:03 The level can be too dark to see the platforms and you've got to be quick to get to the top before that short time limit ends.

As far as I remember (but I was like 11-12 years old at this point), every bonus level freaked me out, and the very last level was an absolute nightmare 😂

Wallace's dialogue is hilarious here.
This was a pretty underrated game IMO.

If I was with Wallace and Gromit, I would have the same skills as Batman and my own Bat Suit, meaning I’m Batman’s pupil. Feathers McGrawl is a Penguin and I have imagined it’s going to be like Batman putting a stop to Oswald Cobblepot AKA the Penguin.

I played this every night with my dad when I was a kid.
Played this 🎮 nearly 14 years ago at my childhood friends 🏠 I got passed saving the baby 🐘 part and that was it not lying I basically spent the whole time having Gromit jump and swim in the water 😆. But I'd love to move on
I rember playing this afterschool and weekends i was like 6 or 7 yrs old i got to the lava level and i had to restart when i got off the game cos i didnt know what save was😂😂😂😂 Good old PS2 times....
Remember my copy of the game freezing up at the end of one of the areas so could never get to finishing

@@SuperMSL they hardly had much room for his portrait when it came to *Curse of the Wererabbit* since most of the portraits in the dining room were of their usual clientele from their work as an animal control unit and when it came to *a Matter of Loaf and Death,* you can't really see Archie's portrait because of all the heavy machinery, same goes for the Wallace and Gromit Tell-Tale series since they mostly focused more on the task at hand, so Archie's portrait would be blurry in that game, a point I'd further prove with a chapter in my series where Feathers teams up with wanted fugitives from Gotham City

I love that the game is 3 hours and it ends within 10 seconds after the boss fight. They ran out of money.
the fact you did that second bonus misson so easy makes me sick 🤣 enjoying replaying but it is bloody hard!

Just hold square and gromit will Breakdance which also Doubles AS an Attack in Case you are sorrounded by enemies

EDIT! As I search through the other walkthrough on this game I found out in some comments that you have to wait till later to come back and do ONE thing... Ugh... Is there at least multiple instances of backtracking or is that just about it... This game is lucky I am so charmed for this game... I hated that first Bonus Level! Sorry about that!
