    You just proved a lot about boat building for me. I have been wanting to build a sail boat for a long time. Now I know I can do it with more practice and skill.

    Incredible work, hope you have an apprentice in the next video. So much skill should be passed on.

    Excellent shell construction, with brilliant ideas in structure and shape and vacuum forming and such knowledge on fluid behaviour and a perfect command as to where to put the feed lines and suction lines.
    So much extra work is involved such as to finish with a light strong shell. It is such a pity that such extra work goes unseen in the finished craft. In the old traditional wooden craft, every effort is seen in the final craft, but in this method all the preparatory work goes hidden forever. With all that scrap wood one could have built another useful utility craft. Congratulations , for the the seen and unseen efforts that went to make such a hull.

      All that wood is press board. One drop of water and it turns to mush. Your boat would sink before you could sail it out of the harbor and dissolve in 48 hours.

    7:20 is really cool when you can see the resin infuse the hull.

    Why is there only one boat builder, wouldn't it be faster with a whole crew, no wonder these boats are so expensive

    • @Themayseffect
      @Themayseffect Před 6 lety

      The boat would cost more with more workers. This would just take longer.
