It's beautiful to see Italy from the air and it's now easier than ever to do it be watching Italy from drone footage. So if you have ever wondered 'Of the Italian lakes which is best?'. I think we have the answer! This Italian lakes travel guide takes you around Lago d'Iseo and so you can compare yourself!
One word of advice, if you do go, pick a time when the Lake Iseo Floating Piers are out. What a feat!
Visiting the Italian lakes but keen to avoid the typical tourist trap? Lake Iseo is a beautiful Italian lake with so much to offer both the relaxed traveler and the more adventurous. We tackled two hike in one day while I was 6 months pregnant. The first was a hilly hike along the Pirimidi Di Zone trail to see the incredible natural pyramids. The second was a flat walk along the East side of Lake Iseo itself, passing roller bladers, runners, walkers, cyclists, fishermen, and divers along the way. We also visited some of the local towns dotted around lake Iseo and simply fell in love with this beautiful place. It's easily a great alternative to Lake Como and Lake Garda with so much to see and do.

We just bought a holiday apartment in Pisogne which is the town you will get to from the Vello walk. You should have mention Monte Isola as it is the biggest attraction over there. Get the ferry from Sale Marasino or Sulzano and make sure you go all the way to the top to the Sanctuary. The best views of the Lake awaits for you from up there. Also Lovere and Pisogne are gorgeous little town to visit daytime and in the night for a walk on the Lungolago. Just on our way to Lake Iseo. We are staying at camping punta d'ora. We have been here 5 times before. Love this place.

I visited so many times the Lago di Garda. It' s amazing and nice. But the lake Iseo will be definitely one of my next trip Anna. Anyway the letter "e" in "Iseo" is pronounced like the letters "ea" in the english word "meadow". I hope you'll be enjoying some others italian places. Don't miss the italian Borromeo Islands with three islands. Isola Madre, Isola Bella and Isola dei Pescstori.

Lake Iseo Is cute and small but not as beautiful as Como or even Garda and Maggiore. If you look for nature it's ok, But if you wanna also visit pretty villages and luxurious villas then no. For sure it's cheaper!

@@AnnasBigAdventure I suggest to avoid Costa Smeralda, Stintino, la Maddalena (north Sardinia) in Summer (July and August). Too many people.
I will go in the region of Ogliastra,Penisola del Sinis and penisola del sulcis.
Besides, food is incredible in Sardinia!
