In this series you'll be getting a sneak peek "behind the curtain" of what it's like to be with me and my crew on the road.
On this first episode we are in Brea, California for the first of two weekends of sold out shows. I do some lurking online and spread the love back to fans, find out if the Brea Improv is haunted, and yes I even forget a joke on stage.

Thank you for being willing to be open about your struggles. Any sort of interaction we’ve had, even if you just liked my comments, has always made my day. But I especially appreciated when you responded to my comment about how I was struggling with making friends and you told me there are people who need me. 💜

Thanks for being real and opening up about the anxiety you experience at times. I struggle with anxiety also and your jokes we're something that got me through some ruff patches and when I felt good enough to get out I went to one of your show's with a friend and laughed more then I ever had. Your awesome keep doing what you do.

Very cool! I know I'm 2 weeks late and all, but Exclamation was my fave back in the day too so that just made me laugh. I have not smelled it in so long. Y'all are amazing for buying her a bottle! Good thing she didn't cut you after smelling it! Haha!
I love how those girls you commented on taking photos with your sign, wearing your shirt are all happy bc they're probably gonna go see your show but they have no idea that you just drove right by them

On you not being able to remember if you told a joke or not: I’m a 2nd grade teacher, and I taught writing and social studies this past year to three classes. On some days, during the 2nd and 3rd blocks, I’d struggle to remember whether I had told the current block something, or if I had just told the block/s before them. :)

Anjelah, I have loved you since I first heard of you, when your first tour came out. My coworker and I are always quoting your jokes. But, after seeing your CZcams channel (especially this video) I love and have so much more respect for you. The fact that you are real about who you are, and you still love your fans, and you aren't too good to go to these small businesses, just so much more respect for those things. I am so glad that you point out that anxiety comes in many somatic forms. It doesn't always look the same for everyone. I met you 3 days after I had major surgery in Santa Rosa, I was so nervous to be in a crowd that size. I am 6', my ex is 6'8, you looked like a toddler between us, lol that was the comment you made. Thanks for being you !

Wow Anjelah, I'm sorry to hear about your anxiety, but am glad you shared it. My daughter suffers from depression and anxiety disorder she was diagnosed a year ago; we dropped her off at college in Iowa (she was recruited to play soccer) we live in California, long story short her anxiety got the best of her and she came home within a week. She ended up getting depressed because her dream to play college level came to an end, before it started. She is doing a bit better but definitely has her struggles, ..... what do you feel works best for you??? Any advice would be helpful! Xoxo 😘💞

Anxiety runs in my family. My mother and grandmother both had it and they, ever so sweetly, handed it down to me and I’ve passed it on to my daughter and her 8 yr old son. The “baby” having it wracks me with guilt.
Gurl, let that quilt go it will just feed the anxiety even more. I would encouraging you and your family to look into breathing techniques, meditation, therapy, and prayer. Let's stop this cycle!

Wish I could hear what you have to say, the music is like level 10 and your voice is like 3 or 4. My volume is all the way up and I can't hear. If you have someone editing this together - have them Normalize the audio on your spoken bits, this is available in Adobe Premiere I know. It makes a big difference.
