00:36 Divisions of the Nervous System
06:19 Sympathetic and Parasympathetic
Although the nervous system is one large, interconnected collection of neurons, it’s helpful to divide it into various divisions based on function. In this video, I explain the differences between central and peripheral nervous systems, sensory (afferent) and motor (efferent), somatic and autonomic, and sympathetic and parasympathetic.
