Garissa MCA's cry foul over forced disappearances in the County

A section of ward representatives from Garissa County are now calling on the government to step in and help to resolve the issue of forced disappearances in the county. This comes as five people have been reported missing since the year began with the MCA’s accusing the security apparatus of being behind the disappearances. The latest cases are raising questions about the government’s commitment to eradicate enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
