JonJon's HLH Recovery Story | Hope and Assurance Found in Jesus Christ!

Hopeful Disaster's very own JonJonTheCool was battling HLH, a rare immune system disease that severely affects the body. Thankfully, by God’s grace and purpose, he has been in full remission for almost a year! Praise God!
While he was battling this disease, JonJon had to go through a long recovery process, including chemotherapy and being examined by specialists. During this process, he visited a specialist for HLH at a children’s hospital, since this disease is more common in children than in adults. This was a very heartbreaking realization, and while JonJon was grateful for his health, it hurt to know children had to deal with the same struggles.
For our Christmas fundraiser this year, the Hopeful Disasters community is excited to raise funds towards supporting a children's hospital (to be announced) that has focused efforts on helping Children with HLH, as this is an area that has had such a huge impact on one who is so near and dear to our hearts! Our desire is to bring hope to those who may not have any, and to share the love and blessings of Christ with them!
