For all the singles out there, pleaaaseeeee pleaseee hear me out... About a year or so ago, I prayed like you did, and God answered. Now that I am in a relationship, do I realize what an amazing season that of singleness was. In spite of the desires being fulfilled by a future husband now, not even he was able to fill the loneliness and longing for happiness and satisfaction I had. ONLY JESUS WILL DO THAT! Now, I'm left with little time to do my quiet time and devotions I used to do, I go to a different church I don't necessarily feel at home in, now a movie takes over my relished reading time... Things I didn't even consider would affect me because of a relationship. Yet, communication to reach a balance between both, being transparent not critical helps. A relationship is an investment and requires sacrificing some of those things you now enjoy. It will bring many joys but all also many sorrows. And he will not always be what you expect him to be, he's only another imperfect and sinful human as you. Depending on his walk with the Lord and or maturity, he may get impatient, he may have a bad habit, he may not be the handsome man you expect, he may have wounds that need healing, etc. Don't expect perfect Prince Charming. You are to be his compliment and help, so that means work and submission, be there to give him encouragement and even advice but never to possess him. Now that is a curse brought in at the garden, so you must work on yourself and not be hard on your husband, learn to love and be humble, owing mistakes and meaning true sorries. While you pray, pray that you are prepared and ready for the many challenges this relationship will bring for just as Israel prayed for a king as they could not live with God being their King, they needed a physical person as the other nations, so are our trials when we pray for a physical husband as Jesus is and forever will be our HUSBAND. Now, it is true that some are called to be married and the Lord will grant you all grace to overcome, but please first, edify and fortify your relationship with Christ. Enjoy this time alone with Him. Nothing ever compares to this. Once your husband comes, you may find yourself and your spiritual integrity tested and in places you never foresaw. Please do the best you can to rest and enjoy the Lord's presence in your singleness. There is nothing like it! May the Lord help you all as you seek His help and guidance 🙏❤

Luke 16:18 - “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Some people don't keep their vows and the commitment is broken. A marriage can't be sustained when one person doesn't want to be married. That's why there is so much divorce it takes two people to make it work. If one isn't faithful that's not the fault of the one who wants to stay married. No married person should leave a marriage for someone else. That's what this verse means. God doesn't expect someone to stay married to a partner that doesn't act married. That isn't love.

Not all people are inclined to marry and there is nothing wrong with you for not wanting a mate.. in fact Paul says that “it is good for a man not to marry” in 1 Corin 7 and that “..those who marry will face many troubles in life” 1 Corin 7:28.. it goes on to say that it is better for us to be single if we can so as to not be distracted in our faith.. as we can focus totally on Yahweh instead of worrying about a mate.. 1 Corin 7:32-35 so be of good cheer that you want to be single! Not everyone is called to marry!

Hi! I'm 44 year old and I can identify with your words and fears. I've never dated anyone. Occasionally, friends have told me about some guys who've been interested in me, but they have never told ME anything, I just find it hard to continue a friendship when I know he is or might be interested in me, I don't know why I sometimes I just run away from them. And besides, I have known others who got married late in life (like in their 50's and up). Every one of them ended up with a serious illness within a couple of years after the wedding day. And they all seemed like they were in pretty good health, at least, on their wedding day. And then they'd die within five years. I don't know if it's because they had something wrong that they didn't know about with their health or was it the stress of being married that caused it? I have a tendency to believe the latter was the case.

Surrender all of you this is when you can hear real clearly and feel His peace. Fast and push social media away that shows families together unless your ministering to someone. Get involved, learn new skills, stay busy and help someone who needs you, all kinds of volunteering. God sees you! It is best to wait patiently on the Lord and trust him in every area of our lives yielding our will to his. He is all knowing. He sees the end from the beginning. I worry about this with carte and job… 48 and nowhere near my friends and siblings were at 30.
This scares me and I feel like starting up my business again- or getti into another graduate program or anythjng to make it work- but then I fear more that what if the Lord was against all this and by trying anything I’m repeating the cycle again.

I'm tired of hearing these so called Christians that believed God is a "She" and not a "He". True Christians does not have any doubt in Jesus words and believed in Him completely for His words are the Truth. Jesus teaches us on how to pray to God in Matthew 6:9-13 which starts with "Our Father...", not "Our Mother". Anyone who twist God's words is not of God, but of the Devil.

I never prayed specifically for a husband. I never needed anyone. Until now. Lately its lonely. A while ago I met someone..He gave me the perfect picture of everything I ever wanted..everything I ever dreamed but was afraid to think of nor pray for. I got into that..started praying that this should be my husband! Suddenly I wanted all of it..wore my heart on my sleeve wuth him...he did the same then..made a thousand wonderful promises..then Suddenly he has walked away...No argument.. Nothing bad happened. Just gone.. Silent. I don't know where to start..this is why I never needed no one from the start. Humans are complex.

Due to the things happening and the type of men living in our generation sometimes I feel discouraged and think it's best to be single for life but whenever I come across such wonderful and insightful videos I get encouraged and pray for him who God has purposed for me to wait for me and if he hasn't come to know how wonderful God is he does so in time.
