oh God...that serve...seriously the hardest serve to pass. i've played on the national team, and have traveled and played against the world's best teams, but serve-receive versus China was especially challenging because they would serve like this, and the spin of the ball and trajectory is especially challenging
If people do this serve right, it's pretty crazy. You can put almost as much topspin on it as you can with a full on jump serve, but without the need for all the space required by a jump serve.
That is excellent for you. I find myself in the same situation. Progressively building up. We'll improve with high standard exposure. That's the same with me. Wish I was taller. I've pretty much finished growing and I'm 5'11. Just got to get a better jump now :P

btol, tp style serve kena variasikan, bila lawan dgn pmain yg agak terer, float senang je sambut kalo dah agak, ada lagi banyak style bola slain float, cth, knuckle, swing. sape pandai knuckle memg lagi susah dari float.
Try the serve! It is very FAST and opposite team would find it hard to return. Using this serve, I've scored 4-5 times straight. And I am no professional.

i actually played with a guy that serves just like this! very effective serve if you can be consistent at it! a lot of spin to it.

if you look at the video serving-float , they show the ball floating quite alot .

i prefer float serving. lagi susah nak agak dig for 1st ball
tampak mudah tapi datangnya bola pasti Liar...............spinning ball and hard to receive.

I find it hard to pass floating serves.
I don't think I've even received a ball served like this. Don't see this technique these days.
