You need not make your time for others "special." Just popping by with a fast food meal, or taking the kids outside to play for a Mom is enough. I know we tend to want to give a super gift to someone in need, but truly, just stopping by and gathering the laundry to be done at your home and taken back folded is a blessing. Giving what you can give without taking from your family is what is important and the smallest gesture can make the biggest change. You are a lovely person and I hope you try to not get down on yourself too much. BIG HUGS!

I have so enjoyed following your channel because I’m interested in finding out what people of different backgrounds are like in their everyday life. Sometimes we will have preconceived ideas about a culture but then you find out that they are different than what you think. I had always thought that a Mennonite mom would be closed off and shielded from the rest of the world with being just devoted to raising their children and caring for their husband. I do find you to be devoted to that little cutie Zander as well as the obvious love that you have for your husband (yes, he’s a cutie too) but that is only a part of your being. Your love of traveling, you obvious talent in photography as well as seeing you using power tools as you are rehabbing your trailer made me realize that you are a woman of many talents!

I so love hearing Zander playing in the background. He is such pure joy ( but I know children have their moments when they can be a “pill”) he is just precious!!! I started watching you about two and a half years ago. I also subscribe to a few other Mennonite women's channels and find them so encouraging and fun to watch. (I'm Christian, but not a Mennonite.) As a grandmother, I am in a different season of life-67 years old. However, the positive messaging is very important and encouraging; something I've needed during these very trying times. We live in a big city so it's been hard to escape but watching you, Nolan and Xander really cheers us up. Your production values are excellent including the music and you deliver a variety of subjects and adventures. Thanks again and God bless you.

I love your videos, I found you from Lynette yoder. As far as your home I never thought it as messy or dirty, during construction it can’t be helped. But it’s easier to live in a home that you live in, than living in a showroom. Great Job on being a Mom, Wife, Daughter. 👍❤️🦋

I have been subscribed for a while but don't watch you tube religiously everyday. It's pretty funny because a few other family members share my devices and Amazon sign in so I get some crazy recommendations from cartoons from the grandchildren, science fiction from one daughter and on and on. Anyway I have been sick since right after Christmas and have spent my time in bed catching up with channels I subscribe to. I can't believe I missed so many of yours! I also cannot believe you are at 47k subscribers. I really thought it was 100k to 200k! That is what it should be. I like good family content, demonstrating the values most people hold dear regardless of religious affiliation without being preachy. Keep up the good work and hopefully CZcams will reward your efforts with more than the minimum wage.

I felt the same way when I started a CZcams channel, I was terrified. I’m finally starting to be myself in my videos. Also wondered if my church would even approved of it. I didn’t want to push out of the church… surprise they are my biggest supporters. I’m surprised if I get a subscriber one a day…😂 puts a huge smile on my face! God Bless!

I watch Megan Fox because she’s in Lancaster County. At one point in our lives my husband asked if church was my home and I just stopped in to see him once in a while. Oops! When our daughter was a preschooler one day she said, mommy, I’m going to do something cute. Do you want to get your camera? 😀💞😀. Says the now 25-year-old with thousand thousands of pictures on her phone!

I'm still on the fence about vlogging. I would love to share mom and homesteading life, the Mennonite simple life version. Some of my children would love to be on CZcams, some not. My biggest reason not to is lack of time. Anyhow, keep doing what you are, because your real life is what we real people need!

I ended up finding Angel Band by Oasis Chorale through one of your videos. It was a balm to the soul as my sister said during lockdown
He is so sweet - just as bright as a button; his lanuage/vocabulary & comprehension is excellent! Very interesting, I think most don't have any idea what it takes to make a video or how time-consuming. I did wonder if you did the odd commercial as there was something that caught my ear the other day, and I thought is that Janeene (the Mennonite Mom), and if it wasn't, well YOU could do that, too! (as if you have enough time) But I thought you did photography, too, like for weddings - so as a videographer you could make promos...! I wonder if you ever get stuck for ideas - still not sure about Telegram (their origins concern me a bit.) Have a great day & don't work toooo hard, I like Lynette too and several Hutterite bloggers.

I am not a Mennonite but I AM a Christian. I started watching Megan Unlocked two years ago and it led me to you and Lynette Yoder and two other wonderful ladies. I use youtube for mostly informative videos and don't usually watch vlogger types. I feel like a wierdo watching some stranger's home videos, (I catch a lot of your videos though because when you sit and "talk to a friend" it meets some of my social needs as a stay at home mom... I laughed when you said you'd like if none of your friends knew you had a channel.. if I watched watched video's of a real life friend on CZcams I would feel like I was spying on my friend at work. 😆

Do you think he would be ok as older child or adult of being on CZcams? Do you feel its ok to film your son when he really has no say as being a child?
If he isn't, we will stop. As parents, we are a child's guardians and make decisions for them. So as his parent, we choose to allow him in our videos, but we don't have this channel focused on him... I'm the main person, and he's part of the family. If we every feel it becomes degrading to him in anyway, it will stop.
