Can I do it without calculate is it possible here
Yes, very much possible. I recommended a calculator because calculators are allowed in paper 2 and also you may save some time. Remember, you also wrestle with time In an exam.
Great job Sir

Sir Is 0
No, they are different. The first class limit shows that 0 is not included while the second one 0 is included.
@@GSCEMathematicsZone12 thank you sir so does that mean even their midpoints differ?
Thank you sir,so does that mean even their midpoints differ?
@FelixKapembeza you are welcome. The midpoints remain the same. They Don't differ. You can only show the difference if it was an inequality.
@@GSCEMathematicsZone12 thank you sir I really appreciate you
Thanks

You teach eazy and understandable
Thank you
What if you round-off the mean from 28.666666667 to 29 is that also correct?
It was going to be correct if the main question was asking us to find the mean and you would have written it correct to 3 significant figures as 29.0.
But since we are using the mean as the road to the standard deviation, avoid such rounding, you can at least round it correct to 3 significant figures as 28.7 or just write the full number to avoidmistakes. Imagine if you keep rounding and shortening your answers in each step before you get to the Standard Deviation, it means that your final answer, which is the standard deviation may be highly affected. So, to avoid that, write the numbers in full or round them correct to 3 significant figures.

Thank you sir but Why don't we also divide by the sum of frequency?
I actually divided by the sum of frequency, 30 is the sum of frequencies. Even if you add all the total frequency from the table, you will still find 30 as the total frequency.
Do we always divide by 2
Yes, for groupped data (data in ranges or class intervals) like the one in the question, you will always have to add the lower and upper class interval and then divide by 2, for you to find the midpoint.
Why not dividing ef
Thanks for your message. What do you mean by ef?
Sets past papers gce
Noted ✅️
You should also teach mensuration sir
Noted, thank you.
Sir why are you not including 7
You mean the 7 at the far end of 28.6666667?
During exams, mostly you are told to give your answers to 3 significant figures if the degree of accuracy is not specified. So, the 7 was omitted because whether the 7 is included or not, the final answer can still be written to 3 significant figures. Meaning whether the 7 is there or not, you can still round that number to 28.7 (3 significant figures). Hope this helps.
Thanks so very much sir but my teacher included the 30 nd divided it
You are welcome. I used 30 when I used Σf.
Wow
Thanks
Nice

Sir why are you dividing only with 2
Thank you for your message. We are dividing by 2 because that's how you find the midpoint of groupped data, data that is in a range. For example, the midpoint of the class range 0 < h < 4 is (0 + 4) ÷ 2 = 4÷2 = 2, also for 5 < h < 8 is (5 + 8) ÷ 2 13÷2 = 6.5 and so on.
So, this is how you calculate the midnight of every groupped data by adding the lower limit and the upper limit and then dividing by 2. Hope this is clear now.

What is that 991.9
Sir do you offer online classes
Not at the moment.
Sir even when writing the numbers is to use a pencil
Absolutely correct ✅️
🎉❤
😍😍
But why 7 it is not included?
Whether you include it or not, the final answer is going to be the same.
Sir how can I use this same formula when finding for grouped data
The process is the same. You can use this process and formula for both groupped and ungrounded data.
