What a wonderful chateau. Anyone would be so lucky to hold their wedding reception there. Ed you and Anna along with your parents must be so proud of what you’ve achieved.
You have Restored the Chateau , but preserved true history of the building it self . If I was you I would be very proud of the family achievements .

Well done. I am glad you kept the original walls exposed and free of plaster, wallpaper, etc. You definitely get the feeling that you are in a medieval chateau. Even though the the newer bedrooms do not have fireplaces, etc., I like the exposed beams and original stone walls.
Whomever did the decorating on the interiors Ed has really great taste. It all looks really nice.
That was a really interesting glimpse into the epic transformation you’ve achieved at La Gorce. One of the things that struck me were the magnificent beds in all the bedrooms and the stunning fabrics that enhanced them. Thanks so much for this tour!

I am glad your parents saw the vision of restoring the chateau into a wedding venue. I am sure it was a tremendous amount of work, money and lots of doubt about what you got yourselves into. Your family's hard work has paid off in continuing the history of France and especially in Bordeaux. Edd and Anna, you are wonderful custodians of Chateau La Gorce and I hope Charles and Emma continue the tradition.

Chateau Lagorce is a Romantic and gorgeous Chateau, I absolutely love it. So much love has been placed in the details of the chateau. The Chateau is grand and the kind of lovely peaceful place (I can imagine), finding a different little spot to day dream, read, take a little nap. The grounds are peaceful and living, with so much lovely green foliage, which adorns the chateau just perfectly. Each room has its own view, it's own character, a vignette, all pleasant. ❤
Thank you so much for the grand tour, the chateau is so beautiful but to me the important thing is that it has been restored for future generations to enjoy. Great job, kudos to all who worked on the restoration, you should be very proud.

Edd and Anna , thank you for this tour and the pictures you have from the beginning as you found the chateau . I can only image the amount of hard work put into restoring this beautiful property , which is absolutely stunning . I have to wonder if you or your parents kept tract of the amount of money that was spent in your effort to restore the former glory of this chateau. It surely must be a staggering amount and certainly not my business but I do wonder . You must all be so rightfully proud of your accomplishment . Be well , be safe , and continue to prosper .

The staircase inside is so lovely. That's one great kitchen to work in. I know. I did some baking there.
