one key difference here vs the US is, material doesn't appear to be an issue in Russia and i can see lots of parts stacked up everywhere. US factories in contrasts doesn't appear to have as much laying around, some would argue its because their conveyor belts are more efficient but i think its rather because they dont have as many blast furnaces as Russia factories do.

Blast furnaces…do you actually know how artillery metal parts are made? Blast furnaces are for making raw steel, iron, etc. Forges are used to make artillery shells. You’re clearly not an expert so stop while you’re behind. The U.S. doesn’t have as great of an artillery manufacturing capability because the US Army isn’t an artillery focused force like Russia. It relies more on combined arms and air power. Anyone who’s studied the U.S. combat actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, and Korea would get this.
We have more than enough capability for what we would actually shoot ourselves but not enough for what another artillery army would use in an artillery battle. We wouldn’t fight armies this way.

@@matthewgaines10 You claim artillery shells are made in forges but not in blast furnaces? Don't you know what a forge is? A forge is the room inside which the blast furnaces is located. The forge is the factory building you idiot!
      -
In Korea, the US focused on artillery. In Vietnam, the Americans tried relying on helicopters and air power, but the north airspace was dominated by the Vietnamese during the whole war. The US not only failed to advance but they were being attack in the South constantly by Vietnamese soldiers dressed as civilians. The Afghanistan war, the US had absolute air domination, but they kept killing civilians, the very people who they were claiming to be saving. End result: When the US retreated there was hundreds of times more Talibans then during the initial invasion because everyone joined the Talibans as they were the only ones not killing civilians.

It looks so much better than the poorly lit and greasy US artillery factory I've seen pictures of on Twitter. Also the workforce is younger. They didn't rehire retired 70 year olds like in America

The workforce is older because younger people all want to work for Apple and Google. In Russia, this is Apple and Google. A top level semi-skilled job. Those who made it in the past still make it today in the U.S.
How much a Russian munitions worker makes is profoundly lower than what a young person can make as an auto mechanic at the local dealership.

They would be producing 24/7 getting ready to fight U.S.
North Korea must also be in overdrive if they can afford to send artillery shells to Russia.
Thank God for the Soviet Union and all those countries making soviet weapons still.

Remember Vietnam's Indochina War, let it be remembered that the US dropped more bombs from free-fall planes than it dropped in World War II and the Korean War. I asked to leave a very boring job I went to Afghanistan in 2009 so coming back to the subject when I was doing logistical work in a 1000lbs ammunition hangar it scared me I asked the Lieutenant how many free fall bombs were there it scared me 1.5 million bombs only in that block the amount of air bombs we have would make Russia and China go back to the Stone Age and if we count that they would not Support an air war with Loockheed martin and Boeing apart from the other aeronautical industries in the manufacture of Aircraft if all the plants are for fighter production is so many bombs that you can sweep Beijing and Moscow thousands of times.
