- Cedar Point's Top Thrill 2 debuts in 2024 as the world's tallest and fastest triple-launch strata coaster, reaching a top speed of 120 miles an hour, and it is a thrill to ride to say the least. @@patrickthorn653 yes ride it plenty of times which is too many to count and including a bunch in the front unfortunately I did not get the chance to get a rollback but I was close
I'm sure it's awesome. I just had my expectations really high. Thought they would do more.
Top Thrill 2 is my new favorite coaster of all time, just like original Top Thrill Dragster! I am deeply in love with it!❤️🏁

Thank you! In hindsight, I should have attended the charity event so I could have had more rides than ONE!! I loved the backwards launch up that spike, that was really cool. And it was nice to see the park again from the top of the main tower. It was a bit rough up and over the top, but overall, what a fantastic coaster. I HAVE to get a front row ride. See y'all soon!!!

This ride is definitely more rough than the original. Taller trains could be a reason.
I noticed that too, mostly when it hit 120mph.

Yes, it's always done that. I kind of freaked out when I first noticed that many years ago.

I don't plan on being there opening day, it's probably going to be too packed to have any fun.

I think that there will be a LOT of people there opening weekend, and since I was just there for this event, I'm going to wait a bit before visiting again.
Im sure if i rode it id love it but i was dissapointed they didn't do more to upgrade it. Am i the only one?

Try riding it. Instead of comparing that first launch to dragsters only launch, try recognizing the backwards launch and the airtime on this ride compared to dragsters.
