Penelope's shop is a mans dream come true. I would spend all day drooling over all the fine automobiles. Thank you for your excellent video and sharing you car knowledge with us. I really enjoyed it and all your other work. Keep it up Bill.
Ugh I really need a solid half hour or so to get my crap together and tidy up my place tonight. And this is just the perfect brief dose of Bill to enjoy whilst doing so. Thanks much Bill, and let's all stay safe and chipper! 🥃🥴
No worries over scratches & dents!!! This would be SO much better than a pristine OCD paint job. Loved watching Sanford & Son as a kid (& impersonating Red Foxx).
I wonder how many vehicles Bill has owned in his lifetime. A friend of mine in high school owned about a dozen before he was twenty and he didn't stop there. I find how Bill presents this stuff as hugely entertaining, he could be a successful stand up comedian.
Bill, thanks so much for this video. Completely unexpected yet fascinating. I loved Sanford and Son. This truck is what I’d consider a Rat Rod primarily. It’s not really that much different than what kids did to cars in the ‘50’s when you think of it. Chopping and lowering a model T and dropping in a flathead or God forbid, a small black Chevy mill. The difference is that the patina and beat up look of those cars was genuine and usually the product of not having enough money to make the car really shine. Now, it’s largely artificial. The truck is interesting enough. It’s more interesting with the Chrysler frame and motor. Sounds magnificent, just not my cup of tea. I did genuinely enjoy the video and the subject matter. Keep ‘em coming!
Hey Bill, you just can't seem to escape the killer cats!!! This Ford F100 is a very interesting truck, & yes not enough people remember the lives lost on Pearl Harbor Day, may they rest in peace 🙏
Bill, I have to say you are a world treasure, At least here in the states. Thank You for entertaining us old beer drinking mechanics hanging out in the garage until the we hours of the morning watching You Tube!
When you told the Google device to turn the lights on, mine turned on too. haha It happens frequently . Penelope has a nice garage. Thank you for your unique videos.
@@martinliehs2513 Exactly. Back then there was no swearing or in your face sex and they managed to create great comedy. Too many shows rely on profanity in the belief saying swear words are funny.
I thought Sprunt was the name of a Ferengi on Star Trek. Who knew it was such a big thing in the world of feminine hygiene? Sanford & Son had a huge impact on my best friend & me as kids. We still call each other "Big Dummy" to this day. Shows how impressionable we were as lads. I also remember these fabulous 50s Ford trucks from my youth. It seems like they were everywhere in the 70s. Great rumble to this example.
Hey Bill!!! Hilarious!! So awesome, man. I too love Sanford and Son and this truck just makes my night here in Brooklyn. Thanks to Penelope for the use of her space and for these wonderful rides. :) JV Johnny
OMG Bill! I had that same pedal car that I received as a Christmas present one year (minus the steering wheel which had to be sent once the stores reopened), it was white with stripes and a metal windshield frame. Thanks for the memories!
I LOVE Sanford & Son (and Steptoe as I'm orig. from the UK), especially when Fred and Aunt Esther were fighting 🤣. The original Sanford & Son truck was living in Northern Indiana a few years back, not sure if it's still there.
You're becoming a household name here, Bill. My 75 year old mother loves your humor and comments about shitty weather, killer birds and Canadians! Cheers.
Aunt Esther : My body was blessed by mother nature . Fred Sanford : And as you got older, it was cursed by Father Time. Aunt Esther : Fred Sanford, the wrath of God will strike you down. Fred Sanford : And this Louisville slugger will knock you out.
AI fine example as to how this type of humor will not ever be allowed again...everyone is so "butt-hurt" and sensitive now!...Good-bye, American sense of humor!
Shout out to everyone who is aching for a second video this week! Fingers crossed we get a Friday upload... hopefully one of Andrew's sleds or even better - an Uncle Johnny special!
Pearl Harbor Day and the 40th anniversary of grandfathers death. He was a huge Buick 225 guy. Always got them deep kelly green or jet black. Grandama always said looks like a funeral car!!! Like myself he was a Veteran . Miss ya Jack V Costello-- a finer Irishman from Boston there ever was, Greatly loved and missed !
Like the farm turn signal lights??? Not. But the Sanford & Sons hat tip is appreciated. Great modern morality tail. My Tan and Nutmeg?? Yes Nutmeg Cougar. Could identify with this. She's turned into a warped Cherry 2000 Mustang cross bread with 64 Aston Martin Omage. Everyday driven and gets her best reviews when we go running out in country. At the country restaurants where the young kids show up in their beat up pickups. It's a great conversation making machine. She's developing a BAD CAT AURA. After our two decades together. I restored a 54 1/2 ton in 75 dropped 312 in front of the 2 speed automatic and painted it Corvette pearl while with Cherry red running boards. Black and red diamond pattern recovered bench seats. And Yes I have photos.
They dont teach this in schools anymore. They learn things like "why little Jimmy doesnt know which bathroom to use". Peace and Rememberance on this day. God Bless you Bill, thx for that mention, and #LGB
Rat Rod, Restomod, whatever you want to call it. It's freaking awesome! I love that show. I was born in 78, but I grew up watching reruns of it. And I always loved that truck. Myself, I would've had to make it more like the one on the show. Maybe that show is the reason I hoard used car parts and sell them online now 🤔. Also, my grandmother was from Wales, so British comedy was something I grew up watching too. Benny Hill, Monte Python, also the original Dr. Who. Awesome stuff. Makes me want to watch some now
Please Bill, do a complete review of the 2007 BMW Z4 3.0si coupe that’s for sale at Autohaus!!! You’d done a Z4 3.0si roadster last year but PLEASE review the black coupe you guys have in stock!! You’re the best Bill!!
As I suspected Sanford & Son was based on our own Steptoe & Son which ran from '62 till '74. American sitcoms are often based on their British counterparts (we're rather good at that sort of thing). However, where we are behind is on 'luxury' ours being rag bone men using a horse and cart!
Bill I love you 😍I absolutely love your infotainment haha I tend to forget about the subject vehicle 🙈and am fascinated by your banter kudos to you from Melbourne Australia 😎👌
Everything else is going to crap, but Bill always delivers! Video was kinda short, though. There's probably a law in Canada against riding in a pickup bed, so I guess they're outa luck with this one.
You're a riot Bill w/ the snowflake talk.Couldn't believe this truck was on curious cars.Did a double take & enjoyed you're definition of a rat rod.Kinda hard to put you're finger on it!
All episodes of Sanford &Son are now on Amazon! One of the funniest sitcoms of all time. Great video Bill.
Penelope's shop is a mans dream come true. I would spend all day drooling over all the fine automobiles. Thank you for your excellent video and sharing you car knowledge with us. I really enjoyed it and all your other work. Keep it up Bill.
It’s the Big One Elizabeth!
And sadly, Red Foxx called his own death--by heart attack, on set while filming the show.

You’re selling FUN with this one - “let’s go see what she put together with her feminine hygiene spray” 😂😂😂👏

Hope you are doing well Papa Bill. Thank you for blessing us with more content. I want to see a Saab
Sanford and Son, boy do I remember that along with the Bunkers. Neither would be allowed today and heavily censored if they were.
Those shows were basically liberals poking fun at conservatives. Yet it is today's so-called "liberals" that would object.

Good Evening Bill how's things been going

Love the sound of old truck doors when you slam them.
It's bed time here in Ireland, I'll have to catch you tomorrow, night all.
It’s nice that the pedestrian can share the street with the vehicles. 👍☺️

I’m lovin’ that Datsun tow truck, and the Spitfire too!
OMG Bill! I had that same pedal car that I received as a Christmas present one year (minus the steering wheel which had to be sent once the stores reopened), it was white with stripes and a metal windshield frame. Thanks for the memories!
Might we be blessed with a picture of the lovely Penelope?
Remember the Van in the Chico & the Man tv show?
It's a Rustomod :)
Buy this one fast, you big dummy!

Thank you too Bill, you keep us going. I love these videos and look forward to them.
I suppose the British equivalent would be any yellow Reliant with "Trotter's Independent Trading" stencilled on the sides.
Shout out to everyone who is aching for a second video this week! Fingers crossed we get a Friday upload... hopefully one of Andrew's sleds or even better - an Uncle Johnny special!
The Rosa Parks story is a concocted fable.
Cool old ride. My dad had a 50 Ford and this brings me back. Thank you.
Love this review Bill, your videos are always educational and entertaining, thank you
I would have loved to know about this truck but this guy had to tell the history of the world. Good night.
Trade ya weather, Bill.. Its 37° in Kansas city today
Front lights of this truck gives an impression that it's CRYING. .😂😂
Interesting... and it's not a GM crate motor under the hood! That being said, the sound and pull does seem more than a 318 would have.
“Forget it, he’s rollin’ “
They don't build them like that anymore. 😎
Pearl Harbour... Changed the world. 🇨🇦🇺🇸
That cat. 😬
Bill owns this truck!!!!!!!!!!! A little sanding and paint should bring it back to new, sort of?
Pearl Harbor Day and the 40th anniversary of grandfathers death. He was a huge Buick 225 guy. Always got them deep kelly green or jet black. Grandama always said looks like a funeral car!!! Sprunt..That is Genius!!!💍
Let's have a butcher's at that Triumph Spitfire lurking in the background.
You forgot about a red letter date in the history of science November 5th, 1955.
It's amazing that this truck lasted this long
Rat Rod, Restomod, whatever you want to call it. It's freaking awesome! I love that show. I was born in 78, but I grew up watching reruns of it. And I always loved that truck. Zaza, cigar, and a stiff drink. Let's go!
