Gapyeong's Shining Example: 73 Years of Heroism Commemorated

Prof. Peterson spoke at the 73rd Anniversary of the Battle of Gapyeong, also known as the "Second Battle of Gapyeong". Also known as the Miracle at Gapyeong. He informed the guest gathered there of the efforts to make a documentary film about the battle, to be shown on Korean and American TV and around the world to remember the sacrifice and the efforts to protect the Republic of Korea during the dark days of the Korean War. The film with tell the story through interviews with surviving veterans, and images from that era's black and white photographs.

왜 유독 한국전쟁 참전 미군과 6.25전쟁을 부끄럽게 생각하는가?
미국이 한국전쟁 역사를 자랑스런
미국의 전쟁역사로 가르치고 교육시켰으면 좋겠습니다
그리고 참전 미군영웅들을 더 존중해 주었으면 좋겠습니다
쓸데없는 베트남 전쟁은 마치 전설
처럼 이야기 하는거 못마땅함
