When you sing, your mouth opens up very horizontally. Making your tone almost childlike in some places. Do your best to open up vertically. Drop your jaw, basically. You'll get more volume and a more mature tone. Keep up the great work!

He's professionally trained specifically for broadway??? I think he's doing it purposefully, this song is meant for that kind of tone. And that just might be his training I mean he did play Young Simba 😊

You have a beautiful voice but if I may make a small suggestion. At the climax of the song where you sing (I don't have to look at it, exc) you should have so much emotion put into your voice that you sound as if you're about to burst into tears. I feel like you held back at that part. Other then that, it was absolutely beautiful

nononoooo this isn't the way to give a suggestion, and emotion isn't something you can fake,,,, too much emotion in the song can take away from the performance by closing the throat and making it hard to get any sound out, plus i think his choice worked. however i understand why you think that... but just because one actor did it that way doesn't mean every actor after him should
I love how instead of just covering the song and focusing on the vocals, you bring both an incredible vocal performance and a level of emotion necessary for this song to stay true to itself. Good job!
