  • Due to its intensive agriculture, the #Netherlands has the highest #nitrogen emissions in #Europe. As a result, Dutch forests and rivers are among the most polluted in the world. EU environmental standards dictate that the Dutch government must reduce the presence of this chemical element in the soil. The idea is to get farmers to reduce the number of cattle, pigs and chickens they keep. However, these plans have been put on hold following large-scale #protests by farmers.

it is making them crazy lol 😅. Nitrogen is an important element as important as the air we breath. Essential for food production. What will they stop next? Oxygen?
Nett Zero = no human life on our planet.

They complain about ‘nitrogen emissions’ but the air we breathe is made up already of 70% nitrogen - it’s bad science & the gov’t is using ignorance to make bad regulations (just to control people); potatoes use nitrogen fixing bacteria to absorb nitrogen into the potatoes we eat (it takes nitrogen out of the air).

I guess hurting your nations own food producers is the only option if "some country" has threatened to tsunami nuke your nation. That would be a rational choice if that were the case.

Honey NL imported migrants in the 60s and onwards to work “harsh” jobs that dutchies refused to work now they’re importing other migrannts to work for them in stores and warehouses since they can’t get enough dutch workers ???? I was told this first by a dutch girl from braband and many other dutchies ??? Like you’re the ones who originally wanted migrants to do your dirt jobs after selling out or ratting out your minorities during WW2. My country lost less jews and roma during WW2 and we were on Germany’s side dude there’s ways to not rat out and protect your minorities but you chose the easy way and now it’s biting you in the a** almost 100 years later

The cowshed is not where milking occurs. That happens in a separate milking parlour which is kept clean to very high standards. Furthermore, cattle are typically only kept in over the winter months as grass does not grow and they need feeding.

Exactly! Animal agriculture is a nasty business. The animal waste is just a small part of the problem. The forced impregnations, the male calf’s being taken, killed as babies to be sold as veal, and the mother’s having their milk intended for their own calf taken for humans to drink. The whole thing is so bizarre. How did this become normal? Soy “milk” with calcium added has a similar nutrient profile to cow’s milk and none of those downsides. We gotta evolve.

It would be very good for combat experience, when we change laws within Europe. As of now volunteers are held back from helping Ukraine, because it is forbidden by law to actively fight in an abroad conflict.
I think it is better to join some Elite Volunteer forces, for some combat experience against Russian tactics.
