What a difference it makes to have a story associated with the images on screen! I loved the crackly radio transmissions from the cab of the truck - and I was so impressed by the climb @ 3:26 that I failed to spot the passer-by through the gap in the roots. I agree with Julian Hendrickson - Matteo does set the standard we other CZcamsrs aspire to meet...

another great video is the mud at the start from foot traffic of vehicles.
the unimog seems to take it all in it stride just like watching it in 1.1 form
is the river the same one as you visited in you previous video with either the land cruiser or the jimny.

After watching all your Unimog videos I went and ordered one with a bearing kit .
I would like to make a trailer and will put my years of building R/C airplanes experience to work !
The Tamiya CC-01 (Cross Country) chassis is a favorite vehicle amongst R/C enthusiasts. It’s easy to assemble and offers realistic cross country running. The list of body styles available has grown with the addition of the Unimog 425. The Unimog, of course, is a multi-purpose truck with unrivalled off-road performance and its name is an acronym which stands for the German description "UNIversal-MOtor-Gerat." The 425 variant was a heavier model that was produced in the 1970s and 1980s. It featured a 120hp engine and 2.81m wheelbase.

The Tamiya R/C replica faithfully captures all of the full size Unimog details down to the large snorkel and cap vent and large side view mirrors. The Unimog body is mounted on the capable CC-01 Cross Country chassis, which features independent front suspension and a rear 4-link rigid suspension set up for fun scale trail running enjoyment.

Amazing water bubbles Matteo. I’m glad the river isn’t so high that it’s unsafe for the people living near the banks. It looked like you had to be careful not to go into water that was too deep for the vehicle.

+Donovan Gladden Thanks for your compliment! No, never a problem with the LED's. I install the LED controller on a higher position in the car (under the roof or so) to be sure it goes not under water.

I have both the cco1-406&425 how do you get the springs to work so softly mine are stiff as especially at the rear no mods built as per kit instructions please help as I love the way your suspension is articulating , do I need better softer shocks/oil dampers ??
I have enlarged the flat areas on the damper pistons, and used softer oil, so it works much better. 👍😊😊

Hi, Matteo! Cool little video. I had a grasshopper from the early 80s, and I just received the Unimog 425 for Christmas. I am almost done with it, but I am curious, did you buy the LED light kit separately?
@@MikeyB_1972 in my Unimog I had to purchase the led kit separately. It was the TLU-01 led light kit from Tamiya. Works great and good luck!
