Every year since 2022, Kenda Tires sponsors several race teams as a continuation of being able to test our tires in the most extreme racing environment on the planet. We do this because, if our race teams can't destroy our tires, then we believe you won't be able to either! This is where our motto, "Podium2Pavement™" is represented by our Ultra4 & Short Course Off-Road Racing teams is derived from. They race on the same exact DOT regulated tires that you and I can purchase right from our local Kenda Tire Dealer!
So what exactly is King of the Hammers?? King of the Hammers (KOH) is an annual off-road race that takes place in Johnson Valley, California, USA. The event typically occurs in early February.
Location: The race primarily takes place in Johnson Valley Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Area, which is part of the Mojave Desert in Southern California.
Terrain: The race is known for its challenging and diverse terrain, featuring a mix of desert flats, rocky trails, sand dunes, and steep climbs. The challenging conditions make it one of the toughest off-road races in the world.
Format: King of the Hammers is a week-long event, but the main attraction is the Ultra4 Racing King of the Hammers race. This race combines high-speed desert racing and technical rock crawling. It is a unique event that tests the skills of both the driver and the vehicle.
Ultra4 Class Vehicles:The race features a specific class of vehicles known as Ultra4 vehicles. These are highly specialized off-road rigs that are designed to handle a variety of terrains. They are often a blend of high-speed desert racing vehicles and rock crawlers, equipped with features like large off-road tires, long-travel suspension, and powerful engines.
Pre-race Festivities: The week leading up to the main race includes various off-road-related activities, such as rock crawling competitions, UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) races, and other events. The area becomes a gathering place for off-road enthusiasts from around the world.
King of the Hammers Race: The main event, the King of the Hammers race, is a one-day competition where drivers navigate a challenging course, combining high-speed sections and rock crawling obstacles. The race covers a significant distance, and competitors must have both speed and endurance to succeed.
Cultural Event: King of the Hammers has grown beyond just a race; it has become a cultural event for off-road enthusiasts. It attracts participants and spectators from various parts of the off-road community.

Just got my mt2 on my truck. Yall seem to got a good amount of sizes for what so far seem to be very capable even have my stock tire size, which is appreciated because I don't plan on lifting my truck. But I still want to be able to get out on the dirt and do some wheeling
