I'm 62 and been following Tom for over a year. I never really have listened to that type of music because l guess i never grew up with it. Diso is what I was brought up with. Tom has some beautiful lyrics and the beat us out if this world. I commented once, and to my amazed, Tom and his girlfriend commented me back. I felt so honored. It wasn't a just 4 words, but a whole paragraph. He was so kind. He has been the only singer on a social media that read my comment and commented me back. enjoy your day. 🎉

It's very difficult in America to be positive because so much is weighted against us. However, more and more people are banding together here. There are people, who just a couple of years ago, literally spat on me for defending the right to Free Speech. These same people have come around and realized how wrong they were. Each day, more and more people who have been quiet are starting to realize they have to speak up.
I may be just a single American, but everyone I know understands how important this is for more than just us and America. Truly, the fight for Freedom is waging across all nations!

It scares the Americans that are ready to stand and fall if need be how far the govt will actually go. They are already poisoning our air, water, land, and food. Most of the southerners are always ready for any situation. I’ve seen most veterans say they took an oath to protect the USA and they are ready if need be. I just pray there are more out there that feel the same way. I have 5 kids from 15 to 25. My oldest 2 daughters both have their conceal carry licenses and are carrying. This isn’t the world I wanted for them and my one day grandkids. If it requires this moma to stand for what’s ours and what’s right I’ll gladly take my place. Keep reminding people that if the USA loses this fight we are all going to lose to something far worse, all of our freedoms! And other countries will fall also. Just keep reminding people. It means more coming from someone in another nation.

I am a partially disabled combat veteran of the US Navy. The things I see in our country today make me question whether or not my service and sacrifice was worth it. All that veterans want is for our country to love us as much as we love it. But, many of us have come to feel that much of our country is lost and has come to hate us. Then I hear songs like this and I realize that some of my fellow Americans appreciate what we do and give me hope once again.
Thank you for your service! This is when I wish I knew what to do to make things right to let all of our veterans know they are appreciated regardless of what the narrative is.

I genuinely enjoy your channel. I grew up in a cult. Left at 17. My only music exposure was what I heard at school and in the neighborhood. It was things like P-Funk and George Clinton. So, when we did have parties, I was at a disadvantage. They ask me if I liked Van Halen or Rush…Who? Play it for me. I like it. My music world exploded. My play list follows no pattern. My son is Muli-racial, but birth certificate and license say white. Listen to what speaks to you. You genuinely ask people not to box themselves in a corner.

Made it to the end of the video LOL. The song is fire and 100% on Target. That believe your take on what they're trying to say is as close to perfect as possible. In the first verse they call out both the left and right on the far sides. Although I do have to say that they call out the laughed more than the right. In the second verse they call out the politician establishment and corporate America, maybe also the mass media, that maybe in the third verse I don't remember. But they do call lots corporate America in the mass media again. Toward the end I feel that they're calling on so-called Middle America to find sanity. The more I get to know this channel. The more I just want to say keep up the good work and thank you for being one of the few places that is more center then left or right.

My wife is a HS English teacher, and we've talked about protecting schools many times over the years. Anyway, I grew up in DoDDS schools, so there were armed military personnel in the schools at all times. There was also at least one K-9 unit. There were never any problems other than a fist-fight. We can do the same with public schools. There are plenty of Veterans to hire, and get at least one K-9 unit in each school. Even the way some kids today have no problem cussing out a teacher, they won't cuss out a trained dog.

I also see it as its The peoples America not the governments'. My grandkids go to our small town school and the Pledge of Allegiance is said everyday.
It's bad. I've caused trouble in Cherry Creek Schools with my kids. Walking into a classroom for a parent/teacher conference and there's those flags hanging from the wall...I've had no problem saying what's wrong, and I'll probably do it again this year.

I just really appreciate your open perspective on things. Even when something is completely against my beliefs, I don’t want our government telling those people they can’t believe what they want to. Because there’s two sides to every coin. If I were okay with government infringing on the lefts beliefs then I’d have to expect the same to be done to mine. Small government. Love God. Love family. Love your neighbors. And love the United States Of America! The rest of the world wishes that they had the freedoms “THEY” are trying to abolish now!
This comment 👏 It can be so hard for some to accept that others can have different beliefs, and accept that it’s okay for them to live their lives according to said beliefs. These people can still be good humans. This attempt to push agendas on those who feel different, or being so quick to crucify someone’s character by giving labels like transphobic or racist, is creating such a divide.
