I am a brown carribbean women and even though there is some form of brown (indian) girl representation on YT I don’t connect to them because they seem disconnected to their culture. They try to be something they are not (including brown MUAs) I can honestly say that black muas are the only ones who taught me how to apply my makeup properly and have the most honest and relatable content on CZcams. I really like Jackie and her videos. She is the only beauty CZcamsr that I follow and watch. Beyond the helpful makeup tips, she seems very nice and funny. I felt very upset for her when she said that she feels like she puts in more work and gets less. I love Jackie’s logic! I’ve worked in mortgage for 6 years, I had the same position as my coworker who was an older male. He made more $$ than me, I constantly had to help him with his work on top of all my work. Yet he would always get rewarded for it & I didn’t! Finally come upper management noticed & I got promoted to a way better mortgage position over him ☺️ but I didn’t quit! I kept doing what I loved & focused on my knowledge to better myself.
