Imagine this. You wake on a saturday morning, no clue what time it is. You soon realize that it is 7:30 AM. When you get up, you hear the sizzling of bacon and smell of pancakes. Your mom calls you to come eat breakfast and then you eat. Once your done, you turn on your ps3. [Beep] you hear and then the ps3 start up sound plays. You load little big planet and you hear this song. You get into a shark level and play until you get bored. You play another level. This time it's a spongebob train bomb survival. You realize today will be a good day
Edit: wow I didn't realize that many people had the same childhood. Miss the old days.

    Huge thanks.
I absolutely *adore* LittleBigPlanet, and it's soundtrack is some of the best music I've ever heard. The fact that so many of these great songs are recorded in different parts that the player can tweak in or out is truly unique as well. Too often though, when people upload these songs, they're made static.
The videos will either have all sliders playing fully the whole time - which can be overwhelming, or they only play a few sliders for the whole song - both of which totally ignoring the _interactive_ part, which is a huge shame.
You're one the few channels that make sure to represent these wonderful songs as well as possible, by showing their true interactive nature - starting them off right, and seeing them through to the end.
    So thanks. You're seriously awesome.

Millions of levels wiped in an instant, never to be played again. I knew this day would come inevitably, but not so soon. It's not fair, how could they treat such an influential franchise like this? And to think this all happened from some exploiters mass uploading levels, snowballing into every single LBP game's server being shut down indefinitely.

While things won’t ever be the same, the good news is that the LittleBigPlanet archive communities like Beacon and Infinite have been fetching these millions of levels that have been saved by tamiya99, an archiver of the LittleBigPlanet levels, and uploading them to their private servers. I genuinely hope that these revival communities stay up for a very long time, and I’m happy that I’ve been able to play some of my own levels and levels of others on the private servers which I missed playing from years before, despite the original servers being permanently shut down. As much as I adored minecraft as a kid, LBP just came into my life way earlier so that's what my childhood game is, being able to just meet random players on any stage, bomb survivals, shrak survivals, RP levels that had an actual progression system built into them, playing on the moon with friends and making club houses with each of you having your own room, there was so much that made this game so special at just the right time it came out. I really don't know if anything for the newer generations will ever be like this, I'd have to say the closest is roblox, has about just as many cosmetics you gotta purchase to look cool as well lmao.

Nothing lasts forever. If you're a kid and you play this get the most out of it. I met so many people on this game. And I miss all of them. The freedom to do what you want in it is amazing. The first game was so simple but had a certain charm to it that just made it the best. I’ll never forget the day I decided to download this game. I had to have been, 4 years old at the time. Me and my mom went to EB games years before it was bought out by GameStop and we were looking for new movies to watch and my brand new PS3 that had been given to me by a family member. That day, we had bought plenty of different movies, blue ray discs. However… amongst all these purchases came one disc that was different. It wasn’t a movie, that I could only pause, rewind, resume, and fast forward. Instead, when I loaded the disc it let me move my character around, make it jump, change its facial expressions. I learned quickly that this was no ordinary movie. This was an interactive one, a game, you could say. I would play this game for hours on end, my mom would always wonder why I tended to launch this specific disc instead of the other ones a good ninety percent of the time. I learned how to join people, adventure threw a unique and beautiful storyline, and create my own levels! Everyday, after school during kindergarten the first thing I thought of was this game I had gotten my hands on. Late at night, I would sneak in my room, just to fuck around in this game. And days were I had breaks off school? This game would be the only thing I did the whole day. What was this game called, that made me who I am, changed my life? Little Big Planet. :)

The biggest and only mistake the company has ever made. I miss playing with my sibling. Its always too painful for me to hear this song because i will genuinely start crying. I only have the demo version and i can still play but im so darn angry. Why do i have to grow up. Alas, I cannot live advebtures forever. Although i have to grow up, although i have to learn and struggle through hardships, this game changed me once and for all, i'd like to say thank you LBP for bringing joy to an 7 and 8 year old.

first got introduced into LBP by my cousin who had the sequel. We played it with her, me, and my brother during that time she asked if we had a ps3 and i said yes, so she got us LBP2 in 2013. one year later my disk got cracked and wouldnt read and that was the time i got LBP1 and
We had played it for 2 more years then we got lbp 2 again but also with lbp 3 for ps3 and asked my cousin who still had the sequel if she wanted to ay it on her ps3. She said it wouldnt work (even tho ours was a fat and hers was a slim). While doing a prank with baby powder her ps3 crashed. When she pulled out the hardrive it had baby powder in it. Fast forward to feb 2019 and im still playing LBP 2 on my ps3 while making a level for my cousin, it happened my ps3 (along with many other ps3's) had gotten the YLOD but i still had the hardrive, it didnt freeze. On nov 28 while looking through my closet i stumbled open my cousin's PS3, i called here to ask why it was in WV with me and she said she gave it to me. So we bought a ne ps3 slim hardrive. While looking at my old ps3's insides i shoke the disk drive and heard rattling of a game disk. I said DAD THERE IS A DISK IN HERE and he and my brother came and opened the drive and to my surprise, was LBP 2. And i played it so much i didnt sleep. I gave my cousin a call and asked if she wanted to play lbp 2 she said "yeah let me get on it". i turned it on, signed in on my PSN, inserted the disk and it loaded, but when i got out of the intro cutscene it took me back to the beginning level, i finished it and there it was, my pod. When i entered the pod it said 0% completed. After finishing larry. I got online with my cousin and i asked when she will be back and she said "im already back ". by the way my psn is sabianb364636

Out of all the video games I’ve played in my 15 years of life, I’ve never even come close to liking a game as much as LittleBigPlanet. Ever. This game literally made my childhood, and I still have the PS3 and the trilogy for it. I still refuse to give it up for anything.
Edit: To further support my opinion, I had almost lost my PS3 once. I used to own a vacation home in Florida, but we had to sell it because it was becoming old and dilapidated. I took my PS3 down to that house the year previous because I already had a PS4 at my house, so I just brought it down as something to do if I was bored. When I left the house for the last time, I forgot until my flight landed back at my home that I’d left it behind. I would’ve lost it entirely if it weren’t for my dad, who had to go back to the house for one final check later in the year, and on Halloween of 2018, my dad had brought it back home. I had never been more excited to see my PS3 than that time. So thanks for saving years of memories dad (he’s not dead don’t worry).

Lbp will honestly stick with me forever, I started playing this game in 2008 right when it came out and I quite literally played it until it died about a year ago 💔 it was a fun and wild 13 years spent, through all its phases and problems but also all the wonderful people that I got the opportunity to meet while playing. But as for now, I just like to listen to the narrator mentioning how there is a planet created in all of us and how we will get to visit once again ❤.

Two truly incredible games. I played it consistently from 2009 - 2011/2012 and while that doesn't seem so long, I spent literally every day playing for hours and hours. I ended up stopping as it started feeling pretty lonely after I stopped speaking to a friend I used to play LBP with all the time. It felt kind of painful to keep playing after a while.
I also live in London so the game felt especially close to home if that makes any sense.

I would look forward to it and spend hours on it. I specifically remember rage quitting alot on Boomtown and making shitty levels that would piss my mother off (I wasn't allowed to have my own account yet so I had to use hers. She pretty much told me to quit making levels because they were so bad and her friends thought she was the one making them lmao😂😂). I wish I could go back to those times.

I remember playing this on my ps3 with my sibling and trying the first version with the haunted house, the desert, the kingdom and a few others. I miss it so much. I made so many memories while playing this game. I remember playing this game late at night and just listening. I’m playing it again soon hopefully, and will never let the memories die. We had this with the Minecraft aquatic update on our ps3 as said before and I can really just remember playing this for the first time. Now I feel nostalgic and empty, listening to it. I miss being so clueless of the outside world. I;m , sad I have to grow up and change, but my favourite memories will stay with me. This game shaped my childhood, along with Minecraft. And I’d like to say, thank you. I feel so empty listening again, knowing im going to maybe forget about it some day. This game made me happy, it brings back so many memories. Personally i think the story is my favourite song. Im playing it soon and boy am i glad we didnt throw the old ps3 out. I still have it, tucked somewhere within the house. I made all of my memories of this with my sibling. We only had the demo version, which meant i couldnt create levels but i did have these certain levels that were playable :) My most recent memories of it were of me and my sibling decorating teh pod with those flowers and stickers, playing sall games like hide-and-seek and just having the best time of our lives. I am wordless to this point now. - thank you for shaping my childhood LBP

Ya know, I remember when I had my PS3 and I immeasurable bought this game. It was late 2008 and I was younger and hadn't had a clue what I was doing. This music brings back so much nostalgia. When I finished story mode, I was planning to play community levels. But a few days after, my PS3 broke. I bought a new one and I got lbp2 on that one. I thought it was way better. But I felt sad that there wasn't as much in LBP 1. It makes me smile when I see this game. In 2013 my new PS3 broke. After that I got an Xbox. But I realized it wasn't on Xbox. I felt heart broken. I couldn't handle it so I got a PS4 and got lbp3. It was fun and all but it was full of issues. A year back I lost my disc of lbp3 and after that I hadn't played an lbo game since. But when I see this game, I drown in nostalgia. Thank you for letting nostalgia give us a little visit. Lbp will never di. EVER! thank you. It means a lot and I'll never escape the nostalgia.
