CM Punk has just done a massive interview with Ariel Helwani and gives some interesting and in depth details of his time in AEW, butting heads with Jack Perry and his side of what happened with the 'Brawl In' incident in Wembley. Dutch will give his thoughts on the whole thing and will also talk about some interesting, exclusive information he got from a very reliable source regarding John Cena's recent run with WWE. The Dirty Dutchman will also give his two cents on the recent comments made by Ronda Rousey, Big E's possible return to the ring and the shift in WWE's style which is leading to many calling it the second coming of the Attitude Era.

I love Bray don’t get it twisted but HHH said it perfectly in the documentary. His ideas are usually cool but no matter how cool something is you’ve gotta find a way for it to make sense in the ring.
Bray was one of those people whose ideas are so convoluted he made no sense and people were drawn to that.

I’ve been saying this to anyone who’d listen ! As soon as he died all of a sudden he’s a legend ?. No knock on bray but the dude was on his back 99 percent of his career looking up at the lights. His presentation was sometimg of greatness but his in ring work wasn’t anything to right home about. If he didn’t have a huge star in there chances are the match flopped.

You guys always talk about the women wrestlers being "half naked" or in another episode you guys said they were "dressed like strippers" but show me one woman wrestler who dressed any more revealing than Lex Luger used to? Or HHH when he was at his peak? Why the double standard? Why is it ok for a man to come out wearing basically nothing but a pair of briefs, but a woman wearing the equivalent of a fairly modest bathing suit is too provocative?

@@tysontomko Indeed. Like many videos. If you do not know much of the lead up to it, it can often be seen out of the context it was spoken in.
Often see them mention something they never 'talked' about in the clip but they did earlier in the cast.
The clips are GREAT if you want bullet point facts, yet many of us just like to listen to how the chat sculpts itself.
On a side note, I absoloutely love the intro package. The song goes so well with Dutch Mantell the wrestling character

We all have been saying it for years Aew is not predicated on doing business but rather do the routine indie stuff on million dollar budget. The lollipop guild far more interested in chasing some dirt sheet writers star ratings as if they mean anything than filling up the arenas. It's just a vanity project for a billionaire.

They deserve the consequences that follow. MJF and Samoa Joe are their only saving grace. If MJF leaves though, and he will be in WWE one day, then AEW is effectively done.

Not to put words in JR's mouth obviously, but I recall JR's thing was calling him "Jungle Boy Jack Perry"... he used both names for a while, and I want to say it was under guise that "Jungle Boy" is not a name. It's like... imagine Ric Flair wasn't Ric Flair and he was just "Nature Boy". No name, just Nature Boy. It doesn't have the same ring to it. It sounds kind of awful. But if you use it like a nickname... "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, or William "Refrigerator" Perry , it comes across a different way. Jungle Boy sounds like a little kid. Jack Perry sounds like a man's name. I loved it... it was a great call by JR I thought.
Drawstring , all l can think of is if it was touched ‘accidentally’ when trying to reach out to shake Rousey’s hand would be it was the loop in a tied drawstring, but the loop would not be stiff and sticking out, it would be hanging down on her sweatpants. The odds of accidentally touching it are pretty low and it would not even be noticed by anyone. And hooking it with a finger is the only way it would be noticed. In this story l think they are both full of it.
Well, we walk with our hands at our sides, so he would have to lift his hand past the waste line in order to shake her hand and she could've shifted her footing and ended up moving closer to him (some people shift side to side slightly while standing, it is very rare to find someone who actually stands completely still while standing), which could cause his hand to brush against her drawstring. Completely possible.
Ronda has been on a "All Men in WWE are sexist pigs" tear lately and Drew Gulak has never had a cross word spoken about him before, so I'm more inclined to believe Gulak on this one.

i thought it was pretty bad. i always hated Austin's beer pageantry where he pretends to drink beer foam and splatters it all over the place... seeing that again was just annoying. they ran that beer pageant crap into the ground in the late 90s. Austin was way better in mid 90s before the beer foam splattering gimmick.

The political rants are detached from reality, but the guy knows his pro wrestling. Much easier on a computer to just pull ahead to anywhere in the audio when the wrestling talk starts, or to just watch the individual clips on YT

As a massive Bray wyatt fan, his stuff was fantastic if you pay attention. Their Wrestlemania match was good. if you were gonna continue Uncle Howdy it would have to a revenge tour like how the fiend was, I would reform the wyatt family with the remaining members now led by uncle howdy or a repackaged Bo Dalas (maybe have as the new fiend persona). Continue whatever plans they had for bray as much as possible. As if Bo Dallas is doing it in the memory of Bray. Could very easily work and there is a bunch of unfinished stories Bray had that you could continue.

Press scrums are 100% the worst thing to happen in pro wrestling. Even though WWE does try to do it right best they can (not breaking kayfabe etc if still alive even) Dumbest thing ever though imo. Save it when your career is over and do a podcast or interviews or whatever. They won't bc the reason the ones are over that they are is bc we didn't know all the behind the scenes stuff. It's beyond obvious that James is pro AEW or anti Punk. He left out so much context when recounting the video. Making it seem like Punk just walked to Perry after the car thing in Wembley and just started choking him. He leaves out that Perry told Punk to "If you don't like it do something about it" and then stepped to Punk where Punk took him down before he could do something. Seriously, isn't it easier to be accurate? Use clips or something? Whether you're on one side or the other you're conveying to people that you're on a side because of your abysmal recounting of the interview. He did the same thing when he couldn't "recall" what the rental car was for and when he implied that Perry had authorization to break the window. That was a spot he was trying to add in and EVERYONE told him no.

While I still think if he's gonna put content like this out where he's recounting real life situations he should be as accurate as possible, I also understand being dog tired and having to work. The people at The Villages ride around golf carts and hang color coded loofahs on the carts. The loofahs are flags to other swingers to let them know they are down and the specifics of what they are down with are in the color codes. There are videos on here all about it.

Yes, The Rock made a point of this being a new era with blood. Still, with increased blood and stiffness, it does not compare to some of the ugly AEW matches, including most of the Blackpool Combat Club matches. Brian Danielson said he left WWE so he could bleed. He bleeds from chops to the chest every match, which is not something I want to see.
