A thing of beauty for sure. It's always nice to see factory correct.

I thought the Max Wedge cars had the battery installed in the trunk.
Beautiful vehicle and I would love to have one like it.

I always thought so also but they made street versions as well unless the restoration market is pulling a fast one. I remember when they were racing those on the track and they were all sedans (no hardtops), heater delete (this one has a heater), battery in trunk, small buckets from a van, aluminum front fenders & bumper. I saw a 64 Dodge Polara 500 2 door hardtop that was equipped just like this Plymouth so I'm guessing that they made street versions of these. The ones they were racing had really radical cams and this one idles more like a high performance 440.

The steering gearbox is well known for wearing out and causing sloppy steering in those cars, even after adjusting the adjustment screws. They are shot by 80 or 90k miles.

That’s sweet. I’ve got two polara max wedge cars. 63&64. My 63 is 11-1 compression auto. I do have a spare 63 max wedge engine those rockers need adjusted badly. That’s way to noisy

If that is an 11 to 1 motor, he was probably trying to cover the mic so you wouldn't hear all that spark knock going on.

Oh..ok thats a manual steering, not familiar with those. The power steering gearboxes wear out quick.

Nice millisecond viewing of the hubcap. I could see it was chrome and that’s about it. If you’re going to show something, show it.

Cars were so sexy back then style elegant you could spend the wk end tinkering with it just a lot of fun now days we get junk bells and whistles blinking lights cameras bumper falls off after 5 yrs have to sale a kidney just to have your car fixed cause you can't work on em yourself what a shame big money ruined the car business.

I don't see a school... it's a crosswalk. It could be the weekend when school is not in session. Don't be so judgmental.
