This song is a "vibe" to me. I loved how the bass player was playing message in the bottle throughout the song. Agree with many comments, "Troubles" would be a great reaction. Hap, I so appreciate your reaction and your thoughts. ✌️ ☮️ 🥷
His unique voice can be recognized in a room full of musicians. And Hap: His fan base goes from teenage age to people in their late 70s.

I think I remember that Ren said it was filmed in a pub and the owner gave them 2 hours from the time they arrived, to the moment they left... I would highly suggest reacting to his newest track Troubles. Such a deep song about his health battles with a banging beat (ren created), beautiful sample from Vera Hall-Troubles So Hard, and really impactful bars. I can't wait to see you dive into more of his catalogue. You think you've done a lot but you only scratched the surface.

They had 10 days from him having the idea to do this, writing the rap, arranging the music, to filming the video. Bonkers!
Ren was signed to Sony back in like 2009. Bu that was when his symptoms started to fare up and he was unable to complete the album before the end of the contract. They split on good terms. They even allowed him to release the songs he had recorded for them. He has been independent since then and all the better for it. He makes the music he wants, the way he wants.
Great reaction 🔥 For more vocals and guitar and another retake, his Fred Again Mashup is amazing. His new song Troubles is rap. Different beat and style from any other so far. I'll share this reaction. The album he's working on now is all song and guitar, probably piano and whatever else he likes to surprise us with. Ren doesn't stay in one lane. Yes, he's still independent by choice.

Bruv, he's independent & doing just fine without a label making him into another one of their commercial clones. His Album that came out 6 months ago hit #1 on the Uk Official Charts in its opening week. He just released his 1st single of 2024 called "Troubles" for M.E & Lyme Disease awareness month & it's in the top 40. That's the 1st time in the history of the official charts that a medical awareness anthem has has done that. Our boy is doing just fine without the Label overlords taking their pound of flesh.

I knew this title. I knew it was a Police song. Interesting that he only used one line from their song. (I think? I'm not an expert on this song) Impressive at one take. Nice choice Amy.
He used the first verse but the really clever thing is that the instrumentation is weaved throughout the entire song.
