But the personalities, the no-egos, no rivalry, the respect for each other, the brotherhood, the fun together and the look of Home Free is what makes Home Free so perfect.
Wasn't this just completely awesome?! The vocals were so on point. The way they executed those rapid fire lyrics so crisp, clean and precise and sounding awesome doing it was incredible. But Adam Rupp just put on a clinic. He completely went off the rails and tore it up with the Hall of Fame beat boxing/vocal percussion and that "no-monica". Other people can do the harmonica sound, but Adam's is just the best. This song is the most fun you can have without getting arrested. Home Free always pays respect to the original while putting their own unique spin on it. Great reaction. You looked like you enjoyed it as much as all of us did. Cool.

Seeing as this is a pre recorded video and all the different parts were done and then layered in production, (Adam records all his parts in his own beat lab in his home) it might be tough to replicate live. Although they all can beat box some, this was some intricate, next level stuff and Austin can to the harmonica sound, but this is also some next level "no-monica" as well that Adam did so I'm just not sure they could cover it live without using the looper. Not trying to throw shade on the other guys, but this performance by Adam isn't basic by any means, so it's gonna be pretty hard to replicate live.

One thing that Home Free and VoicePlay do really well, is to do their arrangements around the Law that to cover someone else's song you have to change minimum 5 things in the song or you have to pay to use it otherwise you violate the copyright. And they do that very well with out losing the thing that made the original song so loved.
