He’s a sophomore in high school, easily using his off hand to lay the ball in. Smooth for his size even at 15 years old.
1. It would be interesting to see what Chris Sheppard(jump ball with LeBron) is up to these days.
2. This was the same year LeBron led the nation in receiving TD’s as a sophomore I believe. The he quit football before his junior year bc he was a lock for the number 1 pick already.
3. I don’t remember hearing about him until the latter part of 2002, then consistently starting in 2003. Anyone who knew about him in 2001(freshman) was either from around his area or an absolute high school basketball fanatic.
I ended up working for the Orlando Magic the same year LeBron was drafted. Ironically, a student from SVSM named Nick McNeill, who LeBron knew, started working with me in 2006.
It was very cool to see their interactions and get to be around LeBron a few times a year from 2006-2012. Nick left the magic then and I left in 2013. LeBron would treat him just like you would an old buddy, it was really cool to see. He is a stand up guy no matter what anybody says.

This was my Sr year... We were no.3 in Division 1in the state all season and got upset in the Sectional championship after going to the Elite 8 in 2000 and the final 4 in 99.... Great times Growing up in Ohio during that time and Watching ST V's emerge into a power house I was blessed to see Magic, Mike Bird Hardaway Shaq, Kobe, Lebron, Carmelo and Play with 2004 Sacramento Draftes Ricky Minard as a High School Teammate and Kevin Martin as an AAU teammate. I swear, I remember watching tv in this time and i dont remember the quality of tv being so bad
I do. We we are spoiled now. I remember watching football and it was all grainy and we watched it on Tube TVs. I think it was about 3 or 4 years later we got big screens and HD tv. You had to pay extra for HD and only about 10 or 15 channels offered it. During this time a 32” tube TV was considered big screen and it weighed about 100 pounds.
It wasn't this bad, this is a digitized version of an analog signal, and because it was digitized 20+ years ago the resolution is low.

I’m 51 years old and have followed nba basketball my whole life and can name so many players through the years that has been so great but Lebron James is the best all around basketball player I’ve ever watched.
