- By John Phillips & John Stewart (The Kingston Trio). It was also featured in Mark Knopfler's first TV appearance ever in 1966, where he shared his talents with his schoolfriend Sue Hercombe.
A short snippet of their rendition was used on NRK TV Show in 2002.
We are not at our best here, so sorry in advance. Pavel & Veronica.
Ohhh my God...both so young, beautiful and talented and duo matching soooo well ever since!!!... I loved it!!!... The fairies did their job gorgeously well at Mark's baby crib... Blesses!..🙏❤️💎💋
Lovely!👏
Bravo to you both!!
Man is this cool. I am a big John Stewart, John Phillips, and Kingston Trio fan and this is one of my all time favorites. You guys really nail this song. Love your harmony, guitar work, and the lonely feeling of this song. Keep it up.
Love the ending!
Beautiful cover, and so much fun to sing along to and harmonize with!
İ think this is your and lady's best job with April Come She Will. Tremendous and haunting performances!!
Thank you...
Beautifully done. Thank you Pavel, keep up the good work. 👏🏻🎸
Wonderful harmony! You kept the spirit of Chilly Winds and yet in your own way.

Pavel, where can i see a clip of the first TV appearance of Mark back in ‘66?
I don't know, not sure I've seen it myself! Only heard.
@@PavelFomenkov Alright, i just came across the full interview. Not sure if you’ve seen it already but i thought i’d link it

You perform it beautifully so this is very ‘picky” of me: you each switch from harmony to melody and back again during verses and refrain and I found that almost unnerving. Someone unfamiliar with the song might go away singing”wrong” notes! Perhaps there is a slight mis-match between the ranges of your voices that forces you to compromise? Am in a mixed uke group and if the key is right for the sopranos I have keep changing register to make my contribution and it never feels right.
Get into a studio! Or have you already?
Unfortunately (or luckily, depends on how you look at it) I’m not a pro musician and never wanted to be one.
