11:30 you could have went to combat. If they kill the goblin, you still get priority back and are able to cast bauble.
You can’t play artifacts (bauble) during combat, it has to be played at sorcery speed, unless they have flash.
@@Calophon you don't move to combat because the opponent has to kill it while you are in the main phase.
@@Lordidude If you move to combat, and they kill the goblin in response, you don't have a sorcery speed window to cast spells before actually moving to combat, so you wouldn't be able to play the bauble.

thanks cgb for mono red ideas cgb but i myself perfer black, white, blue(esper i think?) control i just cant find a good commander i like for those colors in mtga and/or actual commander. unrelated to this video but mono red to me is better then infect/poison. i HATE infect/poison. This hatred stems from a deck that would kill me consistently or one of the other two players by turn four, five or six in commander(if he was drawing bad it would be by turn 7 or 8).

I hate mono red but I love the historic brawl videos!
I top 200 Mythic rank in standard 5 seasons in a row, just mindlessly grinding 8 hours a day. That's all it takes. Slightly higher than average intelligence and lots and lots of time. At the higher ranks it's almost all luck. You netdeck (or very close to) a top meta deck, hope for a good hand and draws and a good match up. Everyone at a high rank plays perfectly.
It's a fucking stupid game.
I was curious to see if Overcooked would see any play in this deck, but it looks like Tibalt took that spot.
I think the celebration enabling is better than another pay off though! Maybe Overcooked finds its place elsewhere 🙃

I never saw the problem of mono red being good, its a honest deck that plays stuff on the board that can be countered by for example removal or lifegain, I play in top 500 standard and alot of people are dealing fine with mono red there, whats really boring in card games and magic in general is playing against uninteractive bullcrap controll decks who exiles your shit again and again, takes all the fun out of the game if you ask me. I play against monored or white over azorious controll/domain controll any time of the week every day. (i do however agree monored is overtuned these days, and I agree it doesnt take much brain power to play the deck, however most people cannot even play monored properly from my experience)

Mono red in standard is boring, but it works well i brawl because the draws are su much more important
it woulda done better, but the algo is getting used to the deck along with commander.
