What a fun video, so happy you were able to visit with your family. It's hard living far away from them. We retired here in NC, and most of our family live in CA, thank goodness for facetime so we can see and talk to our grandkids, makes the distance not seem so far. Hope you get the house, and you get to sew curtains for the windows. It's so exciting to start to make new memories in your new home when it's yours. I hope baby Tam gets a large bookshelf for all the beautiful books you've been collecting and all the new books yet to be collected and precious time together reading them.🏡👶📚👪

Hi Emily! Exciting things going on!!! I’m glad you had a sweet visit with your family! And I’ll be praying that all goes through with the house! You are so right, renting is definitely a financial drain.
About plants…..if you know some people who are willing to give you cuttings, that is a great way to go. I love various types of sedum and it is soooo easy start new plants with just a little starter plant. Hydrangeas are easy to propagate too.

I don't think I've heard of sedum before so I'm definitely going to take a look at it. I love plants that will propagate easily. I didn't realize Hydrangeas were like that so that makes me very happy! 😁💕

Hi Emily! I was delighted to see your video this morning, I watched while plowing through the stockinette on my fosette 😂. Top gardening tip: don't get discouraged!
Other tips: bulbs are your best friend. Expect 50% of what you plant to fail (maybe that's a texas issue 😅), find garden friends to trade plants with, sign up for britbox and watch Gardeners World for inspiration in the winter months - excellent knitting TV!
With the curtains, have Micah go outside at night and see how much is visible from outside with lights on.
Baby Tam is so cute! I think it takes 4-6 years to recover from baby sleep deprivation 😂. I am so glad you had a really fruitful visit with your family. Your mom sounds like a cool lady! I'll be praying for your house and move and all that process. Have a great week!!❤

You know, I believe that! Sometimes it feels like I'll never catch up on sleep! 😳 But I know it's just a season and so worth it. My mum really is amazing. We have definitely had some rocky moments in our relationship (can we say stubborn, emotional teenager?? 😂) but I am ever grateful that we have the relationship that we do now. And thank you!! I appreciate that so much! 🥰🥰 I've done plenty of moving in my life, but this one has a whole plethora of different emotions and stresses bundled up with it. In a good, growth inducing sort of way 😊
