What the hell is " try to resolve it", what is there to resolve when a spouse cheats, it always because he/ she finds you in adequate, when the cheating happens, they have already walked out of their sacred vows. They have broken the trust, for all they care is their needs above all.
Do not be bitter, it happens, but never take that someone who did not care for you, back into your life, even if you have kids, face it. That relationship just died, and no point carrying a corpse of that relationship around.
